Re: Top Players in the SE District 2015
I agree West made positive strides this year. Young girls made contributions. Curious why Coleman kid did not pitch any if she is a solid pitcher?

Re: PORTSMOUTH CLAY remains unbeaten (7-0)
It's pretty easy to remain undefeated when you schedule teams that are obviously no competition to you. FYI, Clay has scrimmaged Oak Hill, Rock Hill, Eastern Brown, and Fairland (and did quite well against all four) and has notched wins over Manchester 18-1, Portsmouth 7-4, New Boston 14-2, Eastern...

Re: Minford coach and AD crying foul...
I don't know that the coach has anything to do with it...I believe it involves OHSAA and the administration from both schools. My understanding is that it involves more than just physical location...it involves the "intent"...otherwise the kids could manipulate the system in all kinds of w...

Re: Minford coach and AD crying foul...
I don't believe it's "standard procedure" unless a coach or district requests an investigation. Just read the updates sent out by the OHSAA...they are really starting to focus on this stuff now...not saying whether this case is right or wrong...but they are looking at transfers much more ...

Re: Minford coach and AD crying foul...
Well...if you move in the middle of a school year...thus playing a fall sport at one school and a spring sport at another...you can expect an investigation...it is standard procedure...it is a red flag for the state and they are going to do their own investigation. I think Clay is a bit upset becaus...
Re: SOC 1
Couldn't agree with you more Doc Panther. My term used for slackers is the comment regarding past coaching staffs at Clay. The comment made was that now the Clay team can accomplish something because they have coaching. Something they hadn't had since the 80's. When the program is a very accomplishe...
Re: SOC 1
With the addition of the Griffith girls, the Lady Panthers will have the best combination of speed, solid defense, hitting, pitching, and maybe most importantly coaching that they've had since the early 80's when they won their 3 state championships. I look for them to win the SOC outright, and at ...

Re: New Field at PHS ?
The girls will be getting a new field but it will not be completed by this season. It is to be located on the lot that contains the Williams Carpet store across from Speas Alignment...but that property is still in court for back taxes...that issue has to be resolved.
