Re: Trimble Hires Howie Caldwell as next basketball coach
Kids need discipline...that's what Trimble has lacked in recent years. These kids need to get ready for the real world and I believe Howie was an excellent choice! I wish the best of luck to the Cats next year!

Re: Trimble Tomcat Basketball 2014??????
I agree with you completely. If you look around at surrounding schools, they work to actually build their programs. Nothing against the kids, because they are all good athletes, but it takes more than a good athlete to be a good basketball player. If you are a junior in high school and can't make th...

Re: WK6 Trimble @ Waterford
I wonder if sumitup89 realizes that trespassing is a criminal offense! This just proves the jealousy this person has for Trimble's football team. So stupid.

Re: Rival: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble Sat Aug 31st (wk1)
Attacking the announcer is ridiculous. You got beat...let it go...move on. Focus on your next game. And yes, Nelsonville may have a good team in a couple years, and beat Trimble, but you should! You're a much larger school and in a different division. Trimble has an excellent group of boys. These ar...

Re: Trimble (3-2, 2-1) at Federal Hocking (3-2, 2-1)
I'm not taking anything away from Coach Kittle. Don't really know much about him, but have heard good things. The point I am trying to make is that at least a couple of those kids, the freshman and a sophomore player, should be at least playing varsity, if not starting.

Re: Trimble (3-2, 2-1) at Federal Hocking (3-2, 2-1)
That's true but there are 5 juniors playing down on reserve. Don't know that's such a good way to build your program. The moral of the team doesn't help much either. The kids have absolutely no respect for Curt Moore. They're a good group of kids. Hopefully some good changes in the future for the ca...

Re: Trimble (3-2, 2-1) at Federal Hocking (3-2, 2-1)
Trimble is the only team I know that stacks their JV and the Varsity team struggles because of it. At least2-3 lower classman should be on varsity.

Re: Trimble at Miller
Tomcat Pride must hold a grudge against Coach Bartley. There are a few really awesome players from Trimble JV-Spears, Jenkins, Roback to name a few, but come on!

Re: PARENT/CHILD 2 ON 2 BBALL TOURN
I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT REGISTRATION. IF I REGISTER WITH MY SON NOW, WHEN TOURNAMENT COMES DOES IT HAVE TO BE ME THAT PLAYS WITH HIM OR CAN SOMEONE SUBSTITUTE. I INTEND ON PLAYING BUT MY WORK SCHEDULE IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE AND I MAY HAVE TO WORK THAT WEEKEND.
THANKS!

Re: Trimble v. Nelsonville Boys Jr. High Game
All 5 starters for Trimble are pretty solid with a Losey kid coming off the bench who has a lot of potential. I have watched this trimble team for years when they have played Nelsonville and its always a good game.

Re: Trimble v. Nelsonville Boys Jr. High Game
Yes both are good teams and have some good quality players. For Nelsonville...Warren, Andrews and Godenschwager. For Trimble...Jenkins, Sayre and Guthrie usually do well.

Trimble v. Nelsonville Boys Jr. High Game
Congratulations to Nelsonville 7th and 8th grade Jr. High Boys Basketball team yesterday on a hard fought win against the Tomcats. The 8th grade give Trimble their first loss of the year.
