Re: Sectional Seedings for SE District -- post here.....
New Lex is D2. Did they get the 10 seed in the Logan sectional?

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 5
Going into last night's game, Adam Blake had been averaging 8.9 assists per game. Even with missing the game against Canal Winchester, he's on pace for about 170 assists for the regular season alone, which would just smash the old season record of 149 set by big brother, Evan in 05-06 (which I think...

Re: Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27
It seems like all of the noise in the Southeast is being made by DIII schools right now. I had to take a long look at the Treehugger list to find some DII school records. McClain not being their normal selves really hurts the DII picture, making it difficult to gage how good teams like Hillsboro (4-...

Re: Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27
I listened to this one on WBEX. Amazing how this game ended up playing out almost the same way as 10 months ago, despite both teams having very different personnel available to them. The only differences really were that Chilli never took the lead and it was they who couldn't finish at the basket. I...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week 1
I couldn't agree with more bman about the LE game. This team may be 5-0, but that was the worst I have seen Logan Elm play in several years. Give Fairfield Union credit for hanging in there and making it close, and doing what they are supposed to do after getting down 16-6 early, but they had some s...

So much for being a close game.

Re: 2/29 Chillicothe vs Logan Elm
I tried to post earlier and I guess it didn't get on there. Anyway, congratualtions to Chillicothe. They won this one on guts, heart, and Ray Chambers' wing span. However, if you come flat like that first quarter again, you may not win the next one! To Logan Elm, you gave it your best and you have n...

Re: 2/29 Chillicothe vs Logan Elm
I'm actually more worried about parking than I am about seating. Last year I missed most of the 1st quarter against McClain looking for a place to park. It didn't help that there was a swim meet going on, too.

Re: 2/29 Chillicothe vs Logan Elm
80-77?! How many overtimes is that going be in? If the score is that high, Logan Elm is in deep trouble! LE has won their games by keeping the score low with good defense and being patient in the half court. They really haven't run like the LE teams of the past. Now if the score is in the high 40s o...

Re: Chillicothe vs Logan Elm 2-29-08
I think you have pretty well summed up the reservation's feelings at this point. Logan Elm has been able to take care of the things they could control. I'd say 90% or more of the teams in the state, including some with better talent than LE, can't say that. I know its a little off topic, but your co...

Re: Chillicothe vs Logan Elm 2-29-08
It may very be Chilli by 15, but one thing is for sure; Logan Elm is going to come out with something for CHS on the defensive end. Coach Stiverson has a whole week to come up with something that CHS hasn't seen. It will probably be a gamble, and it might not work, but the Braves will have something...

Re: Warren Local vs Logan Elm
I'm sorry I missed the game, but I got a late start and the roads got really nasty really quick. Quick enough that Logan Elm is closed tomorrow (snow day #8!). Anyway about the game . . .
Way to play that nasty DEFENSE! GO BRAVES! Bring on the Cavs!

Sounds like what Logan Elm has to do, too! LE needs to do a better job of keeping its big guys on the floor to help with the rebounding. No foul trouble for Largent and Holbrook. Besides, I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I saw Tim Congrove banging down low for rebounds against NW on...

Where it starts for Logan Elm is with the defense. They had a rough go at first with it at first (a couple of games in the 80s, albeit one was a 4 OT slugfest), but over the last 14 games, they have only given up about 47 points per game. They did a very good job taking away the three point shooters...

You might want to read my post again, tbreeze. I think I did say who you played down to! Yes, you won that game. Yes, you have won 18 or 19 others against some excellent competition, but my point still stands. You guys think you can just win this district by just showing up? You guys think Chillicot...

Good to have you back pfloyd. Logan Elm 59 Bloom-Carroll 49 Circleville 71 Hamilton Township 63 Fairfield Union 46 Teays Valley 60 LE finishes the regular season with a 16-4 record. Circleville gets a badly needed win to finish 11-9. Fairfield Union also finishes at 11-9. Time for the insanity to be...
