Like belpre had a great start last night, but when Nd started to kick it in gear and belpre missed a few shots the belpre coach looked as if he was in panic mode.the girls can sense that. I wish eastern pike 1/4 talent they have. #11 is a great player!

Nd is a very good team, Schafer and smith are great players, and get most of the attention but the hover girl is impressive.quick and scrappy. If they keep playing like they are they will be a tough out!

Belpre did have control in the first quarter. Then belpre missed a few shots and ND gained some momentum. Nd was just to big inside. Belpre does have a nice team. Seemed like every girl could handle the ball well. Don't see that very often

Those numbers are certainly deserving of first team. But not surprising, Carson Roney got second team last year. (1-vote away from making 3rd team) with a 25 ppg and 16 rpg season. She made 1st team as a sophomore with similar numbers. But you are right the soc coaches control the vote.

Carson Roney deserved to be a choice for poy! She avged close to 30 ppg 14 rpg 5 spg 5blks pg she scored her 1000th as a junior and finished up with 1800 for her career.

Don't think anybody is bashing the HOF coach like people were bashing coach Fitch last year. Don't think the coach was the problem. The Eagles return 2 starters from last year Hesson-leist and Martin saw lots of varsity action last year. So imo they should be playing like the 2 seed they were gifted...
