Re: Coaches District 14 list released
Out of Bounds I believe if you're referring to Jackson High School they are in District 13, not District 14. I would check the thread on that. I could be wrong though.

Re: Why is everyone picking on the soc?
There is a dramatic difference in the SOC I and the SOC II...I think in all fairness you can't classify the SOC as one entity, because the SOC II is pretty tough this season

Re: Early Favorites for SHL P.O.Y
go big red i agree when you choose and MVP there's just one...was not trying to be condescending with the Bulls remark; just comparing that great team and how each player executed his role to the same Indians team and how each of their players execute their roles. It's a good debate, for sure...

Re: Early Favorites for SHL P.O.Y
I agree with Sparky...that argument can be made for any great team that has existed or will exist in the future. The Bulls of the late 90s had Jordan, but he had a VERY good #2 in Scottie Pippen, plus a great defensive stopper and rebounder in Dennis Rodman, and a good bench in Kukoc, Kerr and a str...

Re: SHL Final Week & Tournament Preview: Scores & Standings
A payback makes sense from the standpoint that the same two schools are playing each other, but this year's team is a whole different team than the Fairfield team that Whiteoak played last year...Whiteoak, on the other hand, has most of their nucleus back from last season. Tournament experience I th...

Re: Division IV Southeast District Tournament teams/records
That's a good argument if you're flying blind in hail storm. My wildcats have played seven games against D IV schools, one against a DII Hillsboro that would be 13-5 if not for forfeited wins, and the rest D III schools...Fairfield plays six DIV schools, four DII schools, one of them being 17-1 Wash...

Manchester Lost to Ripley Last night, they are now 9-8 Whiteoak beats West Union, moves them to 8-8 Fairfield loses to Eastern Brown, they're now 8-8 Fayetteville @ Manchester 2/13 Fairfield @ Adena 2/13 ....could be interesting to see what prevails at the drawing tomorrow with so many teams so clos...

Re: SHL Action Week #11 Scores & Standings
It could happen...I think there won't be much played Wednesday but Thursday will depend on a lot of factors...like if there are girls' varsity games being played that night, as I know this is the last week of the SHL girls' regular season slate.

Tribe, I don't know if you'd want them to not guard him...from what I've seen of him in the past he's pretty clutch with a hand in his face, lol

Re: Division IV Southeast District Tournament teams/records
A lot can happen in the next two weeks...I'd say the #1 slot is a lock, but 2 through 6 is a shake up considering Manchester beat Whiteoak last week and plays Fairfield tomorrow...plus Green's schedule the rest of the way determines a lot. Any way you shake it, with only two getting out you will hav...

Re: Manchester @ South Point 1-19
Maybe the lack of defense in the present is because they are being made to play defense now??? It's just a thought...I know when you try to mold a team into something they haven't been used to being over a period of time, it takes awhile for them to accept that defensive identity.

Re: AP Poll for boys?
Tribe you're definitely right...I just think the sports writers and media in general forget that the Southeast district has some pretty good basketball down here. You have Ironton who made it to the state championship game and lost to North College Hill in the 2006 season, South Webster who won a st...
