Congrats on the win, Southern. Good luck, Coach Caldwell, in the rest of the tournament.
Don't hang your heads, Eagles, you played hard and gave the fans a show.

Re: Eastern Pike vs. Southern (Sectional Final) 3.2.10
None of you seniors have ever had the chance to play at the convo. Most of you have had to play major roles on varsity as sophomores because there weren't enough people, and a couple of you have had the privilege to play as freshmen. It's always exciting to play on the varsity level, but the pressur...

Pfloyd, Eastern Pike is now 13-2 with a huge win last night over New Boston. I think it was 93-44.

Re: Eastern @ symmes valley 2-5-10?
on another forum i read if eastern wins this, they win the SOC. i don't know if that means they win it outright or someone still has a chance to tie. either way, i'd say since the eagles are only one game away from winning the title, they will be extremely motivated to win. it's like the last stret...

Re: Symmes valley @ Green 2-2-10
I'd be happy to explain my logic. If Symmes Valley and Green both lose to each other in away games, their losses would then be 4 and 3 respectively. If Symmes Valley beats Green twice, their losses would then be 3 and 4 respectively. I think Symmes Valley is a better team than Green, and I think the...

Re: Symmes valley @ Green 2-2-10
I'm rooting for Green tonight. I didn't realize Green and Symmes Valley have not played at all this year. I am hoping Green can win tonight, and Symmes Valley can win at their place. A split would be the best outcome for the Eagles, in my opinion. Go Cats!

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
5HDbOy, I don't know what else to tell you. TribeManiac10, tripledouble, and easternclaw have all agreed with me, and they have all given their reasons. Tibbs is an amazing player, and I don't want to degrade him in any way. I've said what I think about the situation, and I have already answered the...

Re: 02-02-10 Eastern @Clay
I agree with you. It's not likely that Eastern will lose the title, but Green only has two losses in the SOC. I was just pointing out that Eastern needs to win at least three more games, instead of one, to share the title.

Actually, Eastern has to win three more games to secure a share of the title. The Eagles still have to play Clay, Symmes Valley, New Boston, East, and Green. Go Eagles!!!

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
yeah but shanks was not the only reason they won the soc title they won b/c they had like three players that was over 10 ppg. Tibbs was the only player on symmes valley that stuck out and he had some help dont get me wrong but withought shanks on western last year they still win the soc title. with...

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
yeah last year Tibbs had 25 ppg and 14 rpg and still didnt get the award because they said he was not a senior. well this year he is a senior and i think he should get the award. If he does not get the award then he has got robbed for two years straight. I'm sorry you feel this way. I doubt he didn...

Re: 02-02-10 Eastern @Clay
I think Eastern has been getting into a bad habit of playing with the competition as of late. In the beginning of the season, they rolled over the competition by around 23 points every game. I still take Eastern in this game but only by 7. If Eastern's past three games wouldn't have been so close, I...

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
I've only seen South Webster play Eastern in the previews. Their guard, who is taller and has light hair, was the best player that game. He's the one to which I was referring.

Re: New Boston at Eastern 1/29 SOC I
New Boston is a totally different team away from that crazy home court advantage they have. A team can beat them by 20 at home, then go to Glenwood and struggle if not lose. New Boston has ruined a few conference championships over the years, they like to play the spoiler You aren't kidding. I thin...

Re: New Boston at Eastern 1/29 SOC I
The past two games were closer than most people would have predicted, but I wouldn't say they struggled in both games. Instead of saying they struggled when they played Western, I am going to say Western stepped it up and gave the Eagles a run for their money. Western came out so fired up it was rid...

Re: Mid-season POY SOC I - SOC II
I don't think it should necessarily go to the winning team. However, my post was that no one is playing on a level where they deserve even it if their team loses. It's like winning MVP in a professional sport. It doesn't always have to go to a player on a winning team, but outstanding players on rea...
