Re: Week #9 Green at Northwest
They should be made to move up or drop out. These bigger schools playing smaller teams just because you struggle at a sport is wrong. Picking and choosing the sports you play SOCI and SOCII shouldn't be an option whether it's football, basketball, baseball, or soccer. Quit taking their talent and t...

Re: Week #9 Green at Northwest
I read they are supposed to start on the new field and facilities as soon as football season is over. Knew they were building just didn't know how soon, that's cool. Soon enough Northwest will end up moving back up with the big boys getting facilities like that They should be made to move up or dro...

Re: Notre Dame(1-5)@Northwest(0-6)
Northwest is in a bad spot. It's a huge district, almost all rural and bordered by two much better football programs who have siphoned off some decent talent the last 10-15 years. Northwest never won an SOC 2 title, not even sure they have finished 2nd but the last 10-15 years have been really brut...

Re: 2018 Northwest Mohawks Football Outlook
Open enrollment has definitely been a factor. Northwest only has an "exit" door when it comes to that. Alot of good players that have lived in the district end up playing for Valley or West

Re: Greenup County's Gage Hughes
Gage lives in High Furnace, which is Green School District. He went to the Burg until he transfer to Greenup Co. in Jr. High. Exactly my point. Like it was a forgone conclusion he should have went to burg and he didn't even live in the district, while some districts would just like to see the kids ...

Re: Green-up County's Gage Hughes
Cry me a river, 1 kid that could've went to burg didn't. Open enrollment has ruined some of the local sports programs, and wheelersburg seems to benefit the most from it.sportsnation wrote: ↑Sun Jun 10, 2018 10:07 am i think he actually lives in Wheel-Ers-Burg. its a shame he didn't come to the Burg he would've won some state titles

Re: Northwest Mohawks 2015 7-3 Great Season!!
I love how everyone likes to pick on northwest for playing a weak schedule. Maybe building a winning program will keep the kids that live in the district from playing at Valley or west. Open enrollment is the Mohawks biggest opponent.
