Northwest is in a bad spot. It's a huge district, almost all rural and bordered by two much better football programs who have siphoned off some decent talent the last 10-15 years. Cry me a river, 1 kid that could've went to burg didn't. Open enrollment has ruined some of the local sports programs, and wheelersburg seems to benefit the most from it.

I love how everyone likes to pick on northwest for playing a weak schedule. Maybe building a winning program will keep the kids that live in the district from playing at Valley or west. Open enrollment is the Mohawks biggest opponent.
