Re: Offical Topic of 2008 Southern Baseball

I saw where Southern beat St. Joe tonight10-7. When do they play again?

Who pitched tonight and who will probably pitch in the next game?

Re: Division 4 southeast district records

I saw on another topic that Notre Dame won in 10 innings last night. This could make the two-seed voting really interesting between Notre Dame and Leesburg. I think Paint Valley is the one, Notre Dame two, and Leesburg three. After that seeds 3-8 are a complete guess. In the East Sectional, I haven'...

Re: Division 4 southeast district records

I think Leesburg beat Whiteoak. This puts both of these teams and Notre Dame at 8 wins. If rain does not allow more games to be played tomorrow and/or Saturday, this probably locks up the one-seed for Paint Valley in the West, due to the fact that they have four more wins than any other team while p...

Re: Division 4 southeast district records

East-Very difficult to seed when one team has played 3 times the games as other teams. Based on up to date records I would probably put them in this order. 1. Southern 2. Symmes Valley 3. South Webster 4. Eastern Meigs 5. Oak Hill 6. Eastern Pike 7. South Gallia 8. Trimble 9. Waterford 10. Miller We...

I just talked to one of the Alexander players this weekend. She only said they were losing their assistant coach, nothing was said about Jeffers. He would have to be crazy to quit with the team they have returning.

Will Alexander lose their assistant coach? If so, I'm sure she will be greatly missed. She brings so much to their program, Jeffers will have a hard time replacing her.

I'm sorry bengalfan76, have the lady Shermans made a trip to the final four in the last 15 years I was unaware of? Unioto was a good team last year, but I'm not ready to rank them up their with Adena.

From what I've seen the Cavs volleyball program is really improving. Monica does a great job of teaching the game and it's starting to show through her players improvement. Where the program goes from here depends on the program at the lower levels and if girls are putting the time in during the off...

It seems to me that every school Lisath has coached at, the programs are in worse shape when he leaves than when he arrived. Look at Unioto, he won with talent that had been developed by Lovely's program. The Chillicothe girls, look where he took that program. They won on Bunstine's talent and nothi...

I guess if Army has served in the military that long he has earned the right to get on here and make as many stupid comments as he wants. Unfortunatly for us, I'm sure he will continue. That's why I don't even waste my time reading his post. I'm surprised anyone still does.

I don't know chillout, the Cavs needed someone to take over late in the game and lead them and no one stepped up. Hitchens started out the game on fire, but seemed to lose focus as the game went on. Chillicothe will be fine as long as they can find someone to handle the ball in situations like last ...

Jackson lost to Huntington last night 56-40. Jackson has a pretty good team and will win quite a few games this year. Huntington is a very solid team led by Lydia Bridenbaugh. She's been the POY in the SVC the last two years and Jackson had no chance of stopping her. Huntington’s pressure really s...

I agree Andy, what some of the coaches wear these days doesn't look too good. I am suprised you have a problem with the chanting that goes on in volleyball, considering all the trash talk you did in your day. :-D
