i was at the game..they lost 71-61..i thought their defense did pretty good but they were 10-24 from the foul line and i think 24-48 from the field. They play Portsmouth tuesday then burg friday. They will need to step it up and work for both these games.

Shaz isn't playing this year. Minford just scrimmaged Vinton County tonight and IMO they did pretty good. They played good defense that helped them out alot. from what i have heard, Blake Hull and Jeremiah Johnson quit last week and i heard Aaron Oesch is moving up to play on the varsity squad.

i agree falconflyer...Burg and Minford should be a good matchup this season. Burg has a very different team than last year losing Miller, Cowgill, and Salyers. Jenkins and Spradlin will be their main two guys on the court this year. I would like to see Minford win this bout between the rivals.
