The player I was talking to said it was Cleveland Central Catholic. Since another team from Cleveland was mentioned, I guess we'll have to wait till the schedule comes out.

Re: Gallia FRESHMEN vs WHEELERSBURG
You were left with 16 players, we were left with 10 after our injuries. So of course you guys wouldn't cancel. Besides, you say you lost one lineman. Who would our center have snapped the ball to? Both QB's were hurt, we were down to one running back, and no tight end. You say this bunch of boys ha...

Re: Gallia FRESHMEN vs WHEELERSBURG
Hey TheMalteseFalcon, I already explained why the game was cancelled with Ironton. It had nothing to do with Burg being intimidated. I think it would have been a good game. When this bunch of kids were in the 7th grade, Ironton won 44-6, then as 8th graders, Ironton won 14-6. Granted Ironton had a w...

Re: Gallia FRESHMEN vs WHEELERSBURG
We had enough freshmen to play Ironton providing all were healthy. Both QB's were hurt, one of the running backs was out with a concussion and one of the receivers was out with a shoulder injury. That left only 10 healthy freshmen. Trust me, if all players were healthy, the game would have been play...

Re: Gallia FRESHMEN vs WHEELERSBURG
I know that the entire starting offensive line-up for Wheelersburg were freshman except for one of the linemen and he switched off and on with a freshman. When Burg played Valley, Valley brought in at least one junior and Burg still beat them 28-0. But all skill positions were freshmen. It just took...

Re: Should the West vs. Burg game be moved to Spartan Statium?
I think the game should stay when and where it is. As far as if two Scioto County teams meet in the playoffs at a neutral site it should be Valley. Two local teams playing at a local field. But sadly, the powers that be that make decisions like that would make the two teams and their fans drive way ...

Yeah, it was a play or two later Shank went back to pass and the ball got knocked out of his hand and was recovered by Northwest then they threw a pass and we intercepted it right back.

Ed Hochuli makes an appearance in Wheelersburg, lol
First off, congrats to the Pirates. How about the official blowing the play dead as he saw the running back (which did not have the ball) get tackled while Shankweiler was running for the touchdown? I guess it's a good thing it wasn't a close game because a couple of plays later, Wheelersburg fumble...

Re: Game of the Week 7: Minford (6-0) vs. Wheelersburg (6-0)
I have been reading the posts all week and FINALLY it is game day. This game will be settled on the field by the kids that will play the game. Like most big games between two evenly mached teams it will come down to mistakes- Who makes them and who doesn't. Simple as that. GO FALCONS NO STUPID PENA...

Not sure exactly, I think it's his ACL and something else. Shankweiler is a sophomore.

Maybe a few more knocks to the head while you're on the field will help you spell "defense" (not defence, dat's were debirds sit) properly and inprove your grammer.
Sounds like he needs to be ineligible to play due to poor book larnin'
