Re: FAC expanison
After reading these posts, I still see no viable options for expansion. I don't anybody leaving the SVC. I hear more people in Hillsboro complain about the Middle school travel through the week when they have to travel to Jackson. These kids don't drive, leave so early and get home so late, they hav...

FAC expanison
IMO, the FAC needs to get to 8 teams. 6 team league is tough to maintain. If one team leaves the league is over with only 5 . I feel McClain would jump at a chance to join the SVC. I don't think the western edge teams would approve a school east of Jackson. Most schools appear to be happy where they...

Re: FOOTBALL CONFERENCE
premier conf. in State, not SEO, would be MAC small school and GCL (Cincy) big school. Best in the State.

Re: Possible teams to Expand the FAC? And Future of the FAC?
I agree, their former conference SBC would be their best option to land. They have big school small school. Don't see the SVC expanding at this point. I don't think the Fayette and Highland schools will vote to add anyone east of Jackson. Six team is a hard sell to schedule 5 non leagues game in SE ...

Re: D3 softball Chillicothe 2 District
Fairfield vs Meadowbrook. Is that the other regional game in Lancaster? Who advances from this regional. Fairfield moves up from D4 to D3 and hasn't missed a beat. Pitching can carry you from here, and they have one.

Re: 2018 FAC Football offseason
I agree with Ed, let both teams go back to their old league the SBC. Highland Co. shares border with Clinton and Brown Co. where * league teams reside. The Clermont Co is a short drive down 32. They have big school (Hillsboro) and small school (McClain) divisions. Being in the SE or SW doesn't matte...

Re: 2018 FAC Football offseason
Chilly and Jackson will fight it out. Greenfield will be 0-5. A six team league is not a good set up. 5 non conference games are tough. Expansion will be tough also. Rumor mill said Jackson wanted to add a couple teams near them, which will not happen as long as the 4 western teams have a vote. Have...

Re: Marietta/Warren apply for TVC membership
Let them in How sweet would it be for the TVC to expand and create a big school division. Add Marietta, Logan Jackson, Warren ,.... add Athens to bigs. This would make the TVC, the premier super conference in SE Ohio

Re: Greenfield McClain Non-Renews Coach
I agree, SVC would be the best fit(always has been along with SCOL), but have heard for years is that they have a great set up and have no desire to expand.

Re: Greenfield McClain Non-Renews Coach
Agree, program has been downhill since Rick retired. The league is a grind. Hard to compete for league titles in the FAC in basketball, but more in football. May be in over their heads in the FAC. Would be a lot better fit going back to their old league the SBAAC (which has big/small division) where...

Re: Greenfield McClain Opening?
I agree with wrestling, good solid program. Track not so much. Have watched them quite a bit over the last few years. They cant beat Chilly, WCH or Hillsboro this year and I haven't seen Jackson or MT yet, but would think both would be solid. But as you know, wrestling does not pay the bills (footba...

Re: Greenfield McClain Opening?
Its not cut and run. That is when one of the big schools in a league leave because they cant hang banners, to a small league when they can win (Athens). When a team leaves a league because they are far and away the smallest and cant compete with leagues teams for titles, its called reality. And as f...

Re: Greenfield McClain Opening?
New football and new basketball coach for next year. So much for stability. Cant have a circus if you don't have the animals. McClain does not have the animals. Its time to find a new league where they can have some success, rebuild their programs and win a few games. Its time to make the
move.
move.

Re: Greenfield McClain Opening?
first thing McClain needs to do to get their football(and most sports) turned around is to join a new league or their old one (SBC). McClain is in over their heads, and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

Re: Should Your School Be allowed to Recruit?????
OHSAA spends more time on compliance, enforcement and legal issues than anything else. How about we do away with OHSAA and make every sport a club sport with little if any regulations, and then we could all recruit whoever we wanted. Just like AAU. LOL!

Re: FAC League, How long will it stay together??
McClain is in over their heads. They cant compete in FAC, but then again they couldn't compete in the SCOL and that's one (and a few others) reason they left, because they couldn't play with Massie and Wilmington (don't run, get better). Hard to feel sorry for them when they were part of the cut and...

Re: FAC League, How long will it stay together??
I have heard some of the rumblings from Highland County, with the main issues being distance (Jackson to Hillsboro, MS kids getting home very late through the week) and having only a six team league. If Hillsboro and McClain do leave, I think they could end up in their old league the SBC where Massi...

Re: Goshen(7-0) host Clinton-Massie(7-0) on radio
Having watched them, Massie is for real. Massie wins 50-14 The old SCOL teams couldn't beat them, so they had to cut n run. Backroom deals
