Re: SLIDING PADS????????
Dick's Sporting Goods has them. They are located in the Baseball/Softball section. They are generally in the package with the black side out so you will have to look carefully and read the package. They are Mizuno and I believe 12.99. FF

Re: Who is the BEST Scioto County ASA team ?
MD must have been Total Chaos. Too bad WT 10U did not go to NSA regional. Without a doubt they were one of top teams anywhere close to here, north, south east, west. FF

Re: Who is the BEST Scioto County ASA team ?
MD I believe the teal/orange/white team was WV Explosion. TNT Explosion(red/black/white) is an excellent organization as well. Well coached and a remarkable group of young ladies. 10U,12U,14U. Didn't the 10U win the Eastern Region NSA?

Re: Little League vs ASA
How do you feel about coaches asking kids to decide to play either Little League or ASA only ? I feel that if a child wants to play both they should be allowed too. My Daughter plays both, and loves both. I would never ask her to choose one over the other. the bottom line is that She is the one pla...

Re: What makes a "good" coach ?
Coach1 do you think it is important to have good assistants, or you just a one man show?
I completely agree with you regarding buying into your game. This may be one of the most important points here. It does not matter how much you know if everyone is not on the same page--yours.

Re: Little League vs ASA
Excellent posts Orkan and 221. One addition to your posts regarding ASA players being seen at tourneys. At the 16u and 18u level some travel teams gear their seasons specifically to college showcase events. Become familiar with which organizations focus on getting their girls in front of college coa...

What makes a "good" coach ?
I hear many coaches, parents, players etc. talking about the need to find a "good" coach to lead a team. What is a "good" coach? Is it measured by whether he/she has a winning record? How about whether he/she connects with the girls? Let's get some feedback here on your thoughts ...

Re: Little League vs ASA
At the junior league level and above a player can do both ASA and LL simultaneously. I wonder what LL officals are thinking in not applying this to all ages.

ASA/NSA All-Stars
I do not think this would work with an ASA/NSA sanctioned tourney as the rules regarding rosters and the fact that they are on a computer database would make this impossible. The only thing you could do would be a non-sanctioned tourney, or maybe USSSA, or Pony or something like that.
