For the 8th grade OVC there is a 3-way tie between Coal Grove, Rock Hill and i believe Fairland... but the games this week could change all of that...Good Luck to all OVC teams!!! :-D

# 53 the right guard for coal grove was a beast this year, he was a little undersized but used perfect technique, he was definitely one of the best lineman in the this 8th grade class

bender in peake game

I am not saying that the kid from chesapeake is not a good player, but Bender only had 5 or 6 carries in that game and if the coach does not give him the ball then he cannot perform his magic. I still think that Bender is going to play further than just high school football or basketball. I bet if y...

P-town - I'm not saying that the portsmouth team was bad because they did hold their own, but neither bender or terry played the whole game when they faced portsmouth and if they had better coaching I think they would have won by a larger margin. Both teams had some great players, I just liked how t...

CG 8TH Grade

Bender's team will have bryant and conley, bare, steele. dutey is a 7th grader and he will not be playing with the 8th grade. I also saw bender
over the summer practicing jammin the ball and he was really close
and it wouldn't surprise me to see him jamm one in a game this year!!

top basketball players in southern ohio

If you guys have not caught Greg Bender from Coal Grove play then you are missing out on a great all-american athlete. He played with Mike Terry over the summer and he is a beast. No one could stop them but their coach would take one of them out which I think was stupid. Because together they clicke...

top 8th grade basketball player

Greg Bender from Coal Grove is one of the best and he has a
drive to the basket that is going to leave other players shakin!
Can't wait to see how many points per game and not only is he
good but he is a team player and will work to win with his teammates.

top linebacker is a tailback not a fullback!!!!!

The best linebacker in this area is Coal Grove's Greg Bender, a mere
6'1" and about 170 lbs. Lead in tackles and he had over 1,000 yard
season and is the meanest player that I have seen for a long time.
