Re: West 2011

I've played South Point and I would say this years team is the most depleted I've seen, and I'll be the first to tell you that I couldn't tell you what the coach was thinking. But the outcome of her decision speaks for itself. I would understand putting in JV when you're up by 3 or 4 but when you ar...

Couldn't agree more. Was talking to the injured player yesterday. He said he was going to try to go up to a sports medicine doctor in Cincinnati and see what they say about it.

Re: Ranking the SOC Fields!

Having played on New Boston's field I would say it's awful, Unless you scrimmage them before season the grass is going to be mostly dead. The atmosphere there is one of the best around though. Actually being in a stadium just for soccer loved it. And as it was said in previous posts it has great his...

Re: West 2011

They lost 7 seniors the year before this too. They are just too depleted to be a serious contender anytime soon. The talent pool seems to be all dried up.

Re: West history or stats

That don't suprise me about west they never have cared much about the kids or school spirit. West since I can remember has been like a detention center the administration has treated the kids like crap. Im gonna have to call you out West_Sider, are you one of many puppets working under the thumb of...

Re: Portsmouth West

I think we did a good job in the scrimmage and I was surprised by how good we did really...Should be a good season to be West...Not saying we're gonna sweep the SOC but compared to the last few seasons we're def. taking steps in the right direction.

Re: Portsmouth West

A few of us from the team got involved in the indoor leagues at the pike county YMCA (which really helped us and was just really fun to play in.) And occasionally we would get together and go out to the weight room and work out some..

We only lost 3 seniors (Plus the exchange students)...Scott and Liesha Davis are still in charge... And yes we're working out on the field and in the weightroom..Hopefully this year will be our turnaround season.

Re: West vs. New Boston on Oct.13th

I don't understand why everyone is sayin that west is finally comin together. The only thing they're doing different, is giving the ball to an exchange student . Other than that, they havent done much. I'm not trying to put them down, but make a point. Good luck to both teams That's odd considering...

Re: West vs. New Boston on Oct.13th

That had to be the roughest game I've ever played in my life...I'll give it to new boston they're rough...But nothing we couldn't have kept up with if we would have kept our heads in the game..There were a few things that could have been prevented by the refs. But I guess the better team won..
