A match-up of two pretty athletic, four loss teams. Year in and year out this is such a tough district. Playing 16 win teams in a sectional final is crazy.

I think I remember reading that SP had two 1,000 point juniors last year. So if that's the case then they have two 1,000+ point seniors this year. I have no idea if that is true or not though, so I could be wrong.

I would say that is right. With Circleville 7th. Hillsboro and Waverly in the play-in game.

The difference between the #2 and #3 seed might make a little difference. The #3 will likely either play Logan Elm or Washington CH, which neither of those are exactly an easy match-up. #2 might get a game against Circleville. I'm not exactly sure of Circleville's record but i think its in the 7 see...

For the Adena side I would say Miami Trace is a shoe in for the #1 seed.

For the Alexander I would think its between Marietta and South Point for the #1 seed.

The game was certainly worth the price of admission. Good student sections. Zane Trace was hurt by foul trouble. Unioto was struck with poor free throw shooting in the 4th quarter. Quite a finish.

I'm a Unioto fan, but it is nice to see a league that is pretty competitive this year(In years past the champion has pretty much set themself apart by now). It makes these games like tonight much more interesting for everyone. Looking forward to a scrappy hard-fought ballgame! Good luck to both teams.

Agreed. Playing games at Piketon, Zane Trace, and Adena are no walk in the park. Playing those 3 teams at home could very well elevate Unioto.

I'd have to go with South Point in that one. But by the look of their schedule Sheridan has some up-side. They gave a pretty good D1 Tri-valley team a game late in the year it looks....unless the score is deceiving.
