That is true. I was referring to the not so distant past of mid 2000's when they were competing year in and year out for conference titles and at least making trips to the Convo for the Districts.

The officiating had nothing to do with the outcome of this game. ZT's size and strength and there defensive game plan was the difference in this one.

Looks like maybe the SVC wasn't so weak this year after all. Piketon wins big, Westfall wins and led big throughout, Zane Trace wins big. Things could be real interesting at the Convo.

I respect your opinion. My opinion of Gibson is that he is a very good point guard and defender. But not a real consistant offensive threat. Roll averages (according to SVCSportszone) more points, steals, FT% and FG% than him and probably more rebounds. Don't get me wrong, I'd take Gibson on my team...

They lost to OU-Chillcothe in a shoot out like 104-95. OUC is led by several former SVC stars such as Chris Younge(PV), Nick Milliken(Adena), Derrick Oyer(Hunt). In this game OUC was without 2 regulars who were out with injury. I know Cumberland had 42 in this game for SSU and Milliken had 26 for OUC.
