Re: Jackson Basketball
This is just the way it is Jackson has had hard time finding a coach that will stay or could stay. Kids need to have basketball skills and knowledge of the game by the time they hit jr high or they are already to far behind kids need parents who will help them travel or build a league in town blamin...

Re: Jackson Basketball
I don't think Jackson has one kid 9th thru 12th that played aau basketball. The girls have at least 5 and there work is paying off regardless who is coaching them jackson has no little program for young kids to play in. We have three elementary schools with gyms could have league between grade schoo...

Re: How will your school vote this time?
This would ruin the state championships. The statement about private schools having weak fan bases is false. I went to a private school and trust me, our fanbase is incredible. Easily 5-7K on average and in big games we get over 10k. Private schools have huge followings. This would kill high school...

Re: How will your school vote this time?
It's time for a split talk to your school board members let them know how you feel so they will pass it on to the principal on how they should vote.

Re: How will your school vote this time?
I believe seperate playoffs would make for a better more even competition for both schools public and private. It would create more opportunity for public school kids to compete at the state playoff level without being put out of tounament by a private all star team. The private schools are total do...

Re: How will your school vote this time?
With playoff games in Columbus I would go and watch Canton I have to stay all night to enjoy the experience. I believe the shoe is just to big for high school games. Attendance would go up if you split private from public people from public schools love the tradition of home town kids playing for th...

Re: How will your school vote this time?
Most public schools have a team that could be a state contender once every 20 years that keeps the alumni hoping for greatness and the whole community gets involved. Most private school have very little following till state games and very little fan base and school loyality. Schools that have great ...

Re: Logan Football 2013
Wolford resigned but yes where unhappy about his time as coach his hiring was a little controversial but i believe jackson was in better shape when Andy and Larry hall came in with more talent than Logan has in its program right now. Jackson went 5-5 and you have heard some complaining but sometimes...

Re: Logan Football 2013
Just want to say logan should thank coach wolfe for sticking around. I played against him and some of his staff members coach Amyx left on top with little talent coming and wolfe stayed usually takes a new coach 5 years to establish a program unless program is loaded. So don't expect things to get be...

Re: Chillicothe 14 - Jackson 13. FINAL
Chillicothe just wanted to win more than jackson it was same old stuff missed tackle and no movement from line and looks and plays like a team that is there because they think we expect them to play football. where's the passion for the game i see this spreading thru the program. just showing up wil...

Re: Chillicothe 14 - Jackson 13. FINAL
This wasn't an upset. What does Jackson have? Jackson is not very good at all. They play with the least emotion I've ever seen. I'm not sure what they do real well. The Osborne kid has made alot of big plays at CB, Landrum is a tough nosed runner. Kearns and Rafferty have had their moments. Cutrigh...

Re: Week 9: Chillicothe (2-6) at Jackson (5-3)
Haven't heard the score yet, but Jackson's Freshman team beat Chillicothe tonight to complete a perfect season. Congrats to them! Anyone know how the middle school games against GAHS turned out tonight? Freshman won 22-0 not much of a game Chillicothe only got into Ironman territory one time and on...

Re: WEEK 8: Jackson (4-3) @ Portsmouth (1-6)
Jackson jv loses 12-0 to logan was logans first win jv looked like varsity on defense all arms breaking down 10 yards down field and waiting for ball carrier to run by so they can grab hold on pursuit the look like they where running drill chase the guy when you get to him just touch him and let him...

Re: WEEK 8: Jackson (4-3) @ Portsmouth (1-6)
Three weeks left and i'm sure the ironman coaching staff is scratching their heads from watching the films how to get this team ready for chilli and gallia. This will be interesting week of practice and to see what ajustments the staff comes up with before the last two weeks of the season. I just do...

Some seniors have stepped up with excellent play landrum cutright gilliland osborne too name a fue. I think some kids seem too be taking plays off in bunchs. I dont think it matters how old or grades they are.the best players should be playing the kicker made a nice field goal. that landrum kid is ...
