Yes the Minford vs. Burg is a big SOC II game and it is at Burg.

I saw the last matchup and I think this one will be a lot closer. Last game the momentum changed with a handball pK for wheelersburg.

I would guess Minford and Alexander will advance out of the North sectional. They will pair with the West and Lynchburg Clay will probably be one of the teams from the west.

Some nice goals in this game. Minford's keeper also at least 3 great saves as well. The pk goal seemed to change the game in more ways than a goal. It put Burg up and seemed to give them more momentum. Minford didn't quit, but they just seemed to get caught on defense with only their back 4 defendin...

I see this one as a defensive battle.

I think both teams play 3 forwards. This true?

A lot of teams used to play 3 forwards, but not as many do now. Maybe with the right players this is best, but I would think that it would weaken the midfield.

Teams can have both good defensive players and offensive players. I don't think Burg will put Thurmer on White or Pupero... so burg will still have Thurmer.
