He wasn't fired. Doddridge stepped down on his own and was even called back a few weeks after he resigned to see if he had any second thoughts about doing that.

Great idea to start Blake's own thread. He had to have had at least 7-8 assists last night in addition to getting his 1000th point. Glad to see his foul trouble didn't get him any time on the bench or he wouldn't have reached it in front of the home crowd.

North Adams goes for 20 - 0 tonight. Good luck. I think the Green Devils win by 10. Do you think that Coach Shoemaker from Portsmouth might make an appearance with his staff at this game?!?!?!?!?!

Rio Grande typically has some nice camps - individual and team both.

Re: Southern Ohio Magic AAU accepting coaches applications
I don't think they actually hire a coach as that would indicate a paid position. These coaching positions would all be "free gratus". As enthusaistic as you are on these boards you would be a good one to get involved in this.

Ripley AT Peebles
Peebles goes on the road tonight to Ripley. What kind of game will the Blue Jays give the Indians? How hard of a game will this be for Peebles and will Seaman play tonight?

Re: Peebles Schedule Leading Up to Tourney
The Saturday game at Fayetteville is a varsity only game. The freshmen and JV games were played back earlier in the year, but that was the night of the "ice storm" and the varsity didn't get there.

Re: Peebles vs. Green 2/17
catscoachmac That's a lot of basketball in a short period of time due to all the snow outs we've had. It will be interesting to see how the Bobcats respond tonight at South Webster after the LONG road trip to Peebles last night. Best of luck to your team the rest of the year and I hope you are able ...

Re: Northwest 2010
They might be better next year, but Oak Hill, Wheelersburg, Valley, and Minford all don't lose much, if any at all. It will tough for them to climb much higher than 5th place. The SOC II will once again be pretty solid in the top 1/2 of the league.

Re: Portsmouth Clay/Leesburg Fairfield Tourney Game
I've seen both teams play and I like Clay in a close one. They have a more well-rounded team I think. Fairfield always seems to start slow for some reason and in a tournament game like this it will hurt. Fairfield has a couple of big, solid post players but their guards are not quite as good as Clay...

Re: Peebles vs. Green 2/17
From my thinking, I feel Coach Lawhorn wanted to get his starters a lot of work in without Andrew Seaman being in the lineup. He held him out completely in this game which was an excellent idea. He appears to be okay injury wise now, but what happens if it gets to a point where he can't go. Peebles ...

Re: Northwest @ North Adams
Northwest plays well out of conference because of their non-league games being Clay and Notre Dame. Those aren't real stiff competition. Back in the day, Northwest played Logan Elm, Chesapeake, and South Point. North Adams has to be their strongest out of conference team this season
