Re: How does everyone see D2 & D3 Boys Rio District meet?
I can never keep track of what division schools are in or what district they are in from year to year. However Unioto looks great as always and Fairland looks to be having the best season in school history. So I would predict Unioto to win D2 race A and Fairland race B both qualifying to regionals.

Re: Pickerington runners sent wrong way in 2nd race
Poor meet management. Officials need to concentrate on whats important like making sure all the runners follow the correct course. And not so much about how many freakin logos a jersey has, or wrist bands, or if the color of the spandex matches the rest of the team. At my home meet last year many ru...

Warren looks strong on both sides! Some of the girls have been running more than the guys.

Re: Circleville Dog Day 5k results
This was one very competitive 5k!! These times are for-real too, this isn't a short or down hill course.
Who is Jordan Redd?? Ive never heard of this kid and he beat both Liston and Wentz two BA college runners! :122246
Congrats to Lauren

Warren really did make up half this list
But I'm pretty sure Cantley didn't run 4:12 for the 1600. Where did you guys get that stat??

Re: 2010 SEOAL
The SEOAL has been predictable for the past 5 years or so with ether Warren or Marietta taking the title by a close margin. Ironton really livened things up last year and its a shame they won't be back. With Ironton gone its going to basically be a dual between Warren and Marietta like always. Which...

Re: Who's the fastest 8th grade boy in cross country
I'll still take Conley over Ross. 11:21 beats 11:31 from last year. When you say fastest, I go with time not finish. Of course Prakel is the best in the state. I agree on that. Ha you want to talk times Ross ran 4:40 in the 16 in 8th grade. Ross would run circles around Conley. I see Ross makeing i...

Re: Who's the fastest 8th grade boy in cross country
I believe Samuel Prakel is the best. He ran 10:04 3200 at state this year winning by 14 secs. Of course there are kids who do not compete at the state meet. Unioto's Ross toke 2nd at the meet last year and placed 25th at the high school state meet this year All-ohio. Max Conley placed 30th with a 11...

Did James from Jackson go anywhere? He is at Rio but will he do track nobody knows. What happened to Carter from ironton? I know he was suppose to go to akron but heard he dosen't go there and is also tranfering to OSU. If ask sombody form Ironton they would say yeah he got a full to OSU so he is m...

Re: Best Quality Coach?
Very True. If he was with a program that actually had kids willing to run Cross Country or Track, he would have great success. I think he should be the next coach at Rio Grande. Is Coach Wiley retiring? No, but I am sure he has no more than 5 years left. I do not know his age, but it seems like coa...

Regionals at Pickerington
In the DII race I see Liston winning by a 5-10 sec margin. Then Lathrop taking 2nd while Dotts, Jones, and Ross battle for position in the top 5. As for the teams I see Unioto wining over St. Clair. Then Circleville, River View, Grandville, Bexley, and possibly Warren battle for the 4th spot.

Re: Districts at Rio
Times are useless in comparing close runners, however a guy running 20 is not going to beat a 17 guy on any course. You really can't compare times from different races on the same course. Weather, condition of the course and competion all effect times. 5K cross country Pr's shouldn’t mean anything...

Re: Congrats to Mark Wiefrich
Weef has to be the most underated runner in D1. This is his chance to prove he is one of best. If all goes well I see him placeing top 15 at state. I would say he has been the most under rated runner in Southern Ohio for the past 3 years! I mean, he has been good enough to go to State and place wel...

I haven't looked that closely at the other D2 race.
Rio was muddy last year but it was very windy as the day went on.
Yeah it was we lost a tent last year.

Re: D2 Districts at Rio
Warren and unioto will win the team titles. Brad Liston will win individualy in race A. With good weather he could very well break 16 he ran 16:12 about a month ago at rio inv. Then race B will be between Ross and Flurry from Unioto. Hopefully Anderson will be up to speed anybody know how he has bee...

Low 18's should make it out both D2/3.
