If the ump indeed called the ball fair, then I've made a fool of myself, but I thought his explanation was that the ball was foul but the fielder's foot was still in fair territory when he touched it. Good luck to Pickerington.

What does Meigs having a down year have to do with it? How do you know that it didn't affect the outcome of the tournament? What arrogance!!! At least the team could have played another game had they beaten Athens. The call resulted in a 4-3 score that had been sitting at 4-1; it was a real momentum...
