Eastern Caldwell is a cousin to Southern Caldwell. At one time Jeff played for Howie at Southern.

I heard that he is doing well, walking, talking and may be moved to rehab unit soon. This is an answer to prayer.

Has anyone heard in the last 24 hours how John is doing? John played basketball for Southern last year. He was very seriously burned this past weekend and is in the burn unit in Cincinnati.

I just recently heard that Caldwell is coming back to coach Eastern volleyball, too. Reasonably reliable source. I also heard that Southern has a coach but have seen nothing official about that.

It was a pleasure to see Coach Jeff Caldwell at the end of this game! He jumped in the air as high as any of the kids did! He is a quality person all the way around! Ask him about the "2 extra medals" after the game and what he did with them. A class act all the way!

Have to say the South Gallia coach showed class by not running the score up as they could have. Southern girls are having a rough year but their is definitly some promise there. Better coaching would help!
