Re: [Final boys varsity cage game set Tuesday on GAHS court

Kenny Bostic 1958 GAHS graduate made the first 2 points in the State & Fourth Gym -- Beau Whaley 2009 graduate made the last 2 points in the State & Fourth Gym. I feel lucky (and old, LOL)to have seen both events happen.

Re: Oak Hill drops Gallipolis 83-34 in benefit contest

Ethan Moore paced Gallia Academy with seven points. Two other Blue Devils, 6-1 senior Chris Armstrong and 6-2 senior Kyle Mitchell tallied six each while 5-11 senior Quintin Nibert added five.

Who made the other 10 points?

Re: Nasty compound fracture at Houston/Marshall...

What a bad thing. At one of the GAHS home games there was a large metal stand that the band field commander stands on while doing their thing, and the Whaley boy was forced into it on a run. He banged his arm up pretty bad, lucky no broken bones.

Re: GAHS Proud Moment

Yeah, I think I did hear someone call it "The Senior Walk". Very impressive, I hope this will carry through the years. Something for the Seniors to remember and the underclass men to look forward to. IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!

After the game the Senior Football Players and Cheerleaders lined up across the field, held hands and walked the length of the entire field and bac...

Re: Stats

Yeh, u r right Devil99. Both the players and the coachs work hard and they need to be given credit for what they accomplish. A few points or yards may not seem like much to us but they might make the difference if a college is looking at a kid. :122245 :122245 :122245
