Re: Oak Hill Lady Oaks v Anna
Not really 100% on this but my best guess is the parents and kids that move or transfer for whatever reasons they have to do so - really don't care if you are OK with it or not?

Re: Jeeps @ Oaks update
The SOC assigns the officials. Most anybody with any basketball sense knows this. They have no reason to be biased either way.
Were they biased when Oak Hill played at South Webster also?

Clueless people on this site does not qualify as complaints from actual coaches and knowledgeable people in those other SOC games.

Re: waverly vs. oakhill 1/22
Sort of strange that Oak Hill just beat Wheelersburg and South Webster in two very intense games and they had no complaints of dirty play, nor did Northwest or Minford????

It was a rhetorical; somewhat sarcastic based question, not a statement against Liberty Benton, or calling old pots and kettles
anything.
anything.

Liberty Benton's center transferred in her junior year, does that now make them not pure?

Re: Congratulations to the Oak Hill Oaks!
You are leaving out the part about getting the offensive rebound off that 3-pointer and "00" getting fouled. Maybe that would complete your terrible play / shot story?

Re: Burg 57 vs Oak Hil 51..FINAL 2-26-10 3rd meeting this year
Oaks played none of the teams you listed last year. They played a 17-3 Waterford with D1, 6-11 kid. You play who they tell you to play. There are some pretty sorry D3 teams that get played in the early rounds also.

Re: Burg 57 vs Oak Hil 51..FINAL 2-26-10 3rd meeting this year
What did Burg's schedule prepare them for the last two years that Oak Hill was D4 and Oaks beat them 3 out of 4? They are probably close too, if not the smallest D3 team in state this year and beat them 2 of 3. The SOC 2 schedule is all D3 and D2 except for South Webster. Difiance Tenora was in D3 s...

Re: Norm Persin named National Coach of the Year
IronFalcon, you shouldn't leave it alone. Just state your facts and specifics? Cheating is a very strong word to throw out. If you use that word you obviously can state the specifics of cheating, and should have stepped up and testified to the OHSAA. If your facts are two kids transfered in, and tha...

Re: Norm Persin named National Coach of the Year
Stopsign, sounds just like where a Coach Norm hater would be at the Covo. Right in the middle of the Oak Hill fans, next to a players mother? That sound realistic. Since you did not offer your first hand knowledge to the OHSAA, maybe you and "everyone" else that you know who knows it for s...

Re: Norm Persin named National Coach of the Year
I do know about Oak Hill. There was no recruiting at Oak Hill. I would know nothing about Chesapeake. You should admit the same about Oak Hill.

Re: Norm Persin named National Coach of the Year
The Oak Hill recruiting thing has been run in the ground. The two boys left Jackson because Jackson did not have a coach, it is as simple as that. You should have offered your evidence otherwise when it was approriate. No other kids came in prior, or have since.

Re: I think I speak for all Oaks fans when I say this....
Oaks went 5-0 against D2 teams. This included an 18 pt win against D2 Alliance-Marlington who beat 3rd rated, 19-1, D2 team Minora (?) in the D2 sectionals up north. They were about 8-2 against D3 teams with their only two losses coming to pretty decent D3 Valley and Minford, who they then beat each...

Re: I think I speak for all Oaks fans when I say this....
Wally, Pretty classy knocking and attempting to degrade a kid who choses academics over basketball at this point in his life. Sounds like maybe you did not make that decision if you even had the chance to do so? All those kids on the team did deliver at key moments throughout the tournament. The &qu...

Think Bluffton has been in contact with Ryan since before the season and still is, but the distance a problem. He has visited Urbana and Rio Grande. Wilmington wants him to visit.

Re: Ryan Bordan and J.D Hale
I did some checking on this since this has been on here quite awhile without any updates. There were 15 players on each team. Hale and Borden got 5 minutes playing time each half. JD was 2 for 3 from the field. He finished with 4 pts., with three total touches of the ball. Borden was 2 for 2 from th...
