Re: Pre Season top 10
1. Ironton - outstanding transfer class this year , couple that with a great off season workout program makes the Tigers the top of the class. 2. Fort Frye - state title seems to be close for this program. 3. Vinton County- new coach had brought new excitement, lots of new players makes them a lock...

Re: Galloway TE Chillicothe
Just ask the Jackson people. Look up their roster. I know they had a runningback a few years ago that went to Ohio University. A tight end go to West Virginia. Their QB this year committed to Ohio University. A linebacker I believe going to play college ball. And I know I'm not doing their players ...

Re: Gallia Academy New Coach….
While I do not understand the non-renewal, or the hiring of Carter, I do suspect that things are really no different politically speaking at any other of the high schools in Southeast Ohio. I have zero idea whether the Gallia hire was political. But there are plenty of schools (probably the vast ma...

Re: How can Granville beat Western Brown
Granville’s defense played it exactly the way I was mentioning. WB with the never die attitude after being down 50-28 early 4th. Granville defense was able to get just enough stops where the WB defense simply couldn’t. WB will be back for sure next year as they return 9-10 guys on offense. Uhh, the...

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep
Yes this is going to be a physical game - Burg needs to simply win this on physicality; different Burg team than usual with not the dynamic offense we have gotten used to although it is improving. Find another way to win, I think this one if they win it will be because they were the mentally and phy...

Re: WK13 Western Brown vs Jackson (rematch)
Jackson played well to win. Tough break on the call. Yes it could of been perceived as a block in the back or unnecessary to do by the player but it didn’t impact the play. That’s my beef with it. They need to quit whining about that call - it was a 60-40 call by most officials who see that live an...

Re: How can Granville beat Western Brown
Hello fellas. What’s it going to take for my Blue Aces to beat Western Brown this week? How did they beat Jackson last week? What could Jackson have done differently? We have a good defense, but have not been great at times in coverage. We also have not played a team who likes to pass that much. We...

Re: WK13 Western Brown vs Jackson (rematch)
That's the only way I'm seeing it as personal foul, it's either that or he felt it was to far from the play personal foul which I don't see that as the case. At least not going off of the initial contact. Would be interested to know what they told the coach, because he didn't seem to be putting up ...

Any schools name in a metro area that's last name is "Academy" or first name is "Bishop" is usually pretty good.

Re: WK 12: THE BURG @ THE WOOD
Ridgewood is a tough out for us, we need to be in the game come the 4th quarter and if we are then I like our chances at the "upset". Can't have any turnovers and spot them a couple scores, not how we are built this year. The natural turf won't be a disadvantage to us at all imo.

Hopefully the poster known as Sapientia Et Veritas will see this thread and hop on with some insight into Hartley and Region 11 as he sees it. A Hartley guy that is objective and knowledgeable about that program year in and year out. Be interesting to see how he sees the Region going and his thought...

Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022
I would add Logan to that list above, they are in same category as Chillicothe in my book, baffling as to why they aren't more relevant given their school size and history. I considered adding Logan my only question with them has been how many different coaches have they gone through over the last ...

Re: Week 10 Chillicothe at Jackson
As a Chillicothe fan I will say that Chillicothe has no offensive identity has been the case all season Chillicothe has 3 serviceable running backs a great TE and one receiver that can beat jackson over the top QB play has been inconsistent but he does have a good arm. But Mccory and Lee will be th...
