Re: Meigs New Hire
Meigs is just not a sports school. Football has 1 playoff game in history. Basketball always bad. Baseball is their best sport and it goes unnoticed for the most part. Baseball is the ONLY men's sport at Meigs that has any respect throughout the TVC. It is no surprise to me that baseball is also ou...

Cassady Wilford
from Meigs just finished his four year career at Heidelberg, was at least a three year starter maybe all four, and was Honorable Mention all OAC.

Re: Meigs Marauders 2011-2012
YoDuh, We may need to agree to disagree on this one issue. I truly believe that certain sports at Meigs are so dysfunctional that the thought of winning and/or competing is not a concern for most fans and may take many years to reverse. No coach outside the district would even consider coming there ...

Re: Meigs jv Coach holley Any thoughts?
cg23...I have never bashed Meigs Legion Baseball. I did however question the motives of a certain football coach who threatened to kick players off of HIS team if they played in a legion state tournament (and that is a fact, not hearsay). That had nothing to do with coaching ability, play calling, ...

Re: Meigs Marauders 2011-2012
YoDuh, That is the best and most accurate post I have ever read on here concerning what underlies the problems at Meigs. I especially like the part about " good intentions." The fact is that the fan base at Meigs is satisfied with the status quo because the right names occupy the positions...

Re: Browns @ Steelers.
As a lifetime Browns fan I have never been more disgusted. I admit that I have seen only a few games this year but it seems like they have zero pass blocking, McCoy has happy feet because of it, and there seems to be a question of heart with some of these guys. It is also VERY frustrating that now t...

Re: We've lost a friend..
Sad news indeed. Coach McAfee was a legend in our area. As a player competing against his team you looked up and admired all those SEOAL championship banners and realized that he had created a dynasty at Athens. RIP Coach McAfee.

Re: Duke v OSU
The Buckeyes are very talented and would have won this game under any circumstances. One thing about this game was every bounce went their way and that will not happen every night. Duke also played tired and that will not happen often either.

Re: Meigs County Ohio
The good people of Meigs County are indeed proud of where we live and raise our families. We are very proud of our heritage not the least of which is our military history defending our country. Born and raised in this community have been four star generals and several medal of honor winners. We bow ...

Re: Luke Fickell
Ohio States problem is it cannot compete in recruiting the great passing quarterback because it is too cold along the Olentangy for these pansy warm weather players. They then are forced to turn to the type that they have had recently. The talented ones that are likely to get the program in trouble....

Rest in Peace, "Big Man"!
The rock world lost a true Icon with the passing of Clarence Clemons. I have seen more than a few rock concerts in my time and without a shadow of a doubt Mr. Clemons, his friend Bruce, and the rest of the E Street Band blew them all out of the water. Back in the day, it was said " There are tw...

Re: 2010-2011 NBA Finals
It was said they looked like high school kids. That is right on. The one from Akron should have went to college. He hasn't matured at all. The NBA is not the place to actually learn anything other than how to be more arrogant possibly.

Re: Luke Fickell
Was it just me or did it look like this was the very first press conference Fickell has ever held (and Im not just talking about as head coach of the Buckeyes)? He seemed uncomfortable or perhaps nervous, and spoke in very broad generalizations using the same rah rah words over and over again regar...

Re: Bill Stewart Out at WVU!
WVU did to Bill Stewart what Rich Rod did to them. Exactly, if the new guy turns out to have a problem it's their own fault. It seems like it is epidemic these days, in search of that almight "W" schools and coaches will do almost anything. I'll bet there are more than a few Ohio State fa...

Re: Bill Stewart Out at WVU!
He and Huggins both like to down a few every now and then. WVU's two major sports are both in good hands now. My question would be is there fire where there is smoke, or is Holgorsen's drinking habits not a concern? At a minimum he has already embarassed the university and he just rode into town. S...

Makes you wonder. Is ANYTHING in sports real anymore? Sometimes I feel like a fool being a fan. I'd go back to youth sports but I saw a T-Ball coach thrown out of a game there so ...................noreply66 wrote:it is all fixed
