logan wins most of the time just because they do shuttle hurdle and triple jump so they get at lease 20 points a meet. However I have to agree that sprints and field events are better in Logan, but athens is better in the distance competition.

Many athletes are doing indoor meets to prepare for the outdoor track. Track and Field is getting popular around the area. Expect some good performances this season. The overall level of TVC (individuals) is going up

JoeRoberts, that's true athens had some bad races this year but lets talk about the regionals. How many people did each team send to the regionals and let's also look at overall personal bests of each runner. Do you get the point ?

stop talking smack. They changed their league not because of the track and field/ cross country programs. This year their distance and relay teams will beat any SEOAL team. If Athens would be in SEOAL during last Cross Country season they would win the league as well.

don't forget Athens up there they have a strong Senior class this year

I remember Kody Wolfe from XC he was very decent. He will be a good competition for other runners. I've heard that Dakhnovets will be pretty good this year, he improved a lot since the XC season

good predictions...have any of you heard about the training process these runners have so far? I've heard Buck is training a lot right now and he is also doing indoor track...so this might give him better chances for winning 2 or even more events.

Surprisingly most times are similar to D2 Regionals, Athens have one of the best teams this year with a very strong Senior class. It will be a challenge for us to make it to Regional meet as a team, but it is not unreachable.

Mark surely had some great times, Athens is D1 this year and I hope there will be good competition throughout the year. It helps when I have some fast runners to keep up with.

This year TVC looks a little bit better then SEOAL, TVC has more quicker runners and the times are faster as well.

yes this will be a challenge for them but their top three will probably be from low 17s to mid 16s so hopefully they'll do good for the first D1 experience
