Re: Week 9: Wheelersburg (6-2) SOC (3-0) @ Valley (8-0) SOC
The Burg totally dominated the offensive line of scrimmage..#7 ran wild.....the defense created turnovers and BUrg took advantage... This team will have a say in who wins the region... Valley will be ready to play next week... Someone claimed the prize...I thought it was odd to wait that late too ....

Re: Lucasville Valley (7-0) vs. Portsmouth West (7-0)
Wheelersburg beat Minford bad. Burg played great. Minford played bad. Tonight West played bad. They made alot of mistakes. Minford played awsome. So now because of this one game, Burg is gonna beat West bad? It doesn't work that way. Football is a game of matchups. Also this was West's first big te...

Re: Wheelersburg 68 Portsmouth 14 WOW!!!
there were a bunch of offsetting personal foul penalties in the 1st quarter, i didnt see the game but listening to radio just assumed Bendolph was involved!! LOL! It was quite a game early on!!! Bendolph was not involved in any personal fouls, probably not even on field when they happened, or if he ...

Re: Week 3 Wheelersburg @ Portsmouth
Neutron man i think trying to prepare for both lang and shank at qb would be hard therefore giving burg an advantage. and from what i am told they both really like having the other one there to lean on and kind of caoch each other up. how many teams would love to have that. It seems like they lean ...

Re: Sciotoville Community Tartans @ Northwest Mohawks-Week One
It is illegal to grasp a teammate who is a runner and help them advance their position. You also cannot push a teammate from behind to assist them. It is legal, however, to push a pile forward to help advance a teammate. Except for Reggie Bush and Matt Leinert playing against Notre Dame for nationa...

Re: Sciotoville Community Tartans @ Northwest Mohawks-Week One
I know East won but did anyone think there was some bad calls made against them? Goof game though, hopefully for East they can get Rawlins back who is their best defensive player and continue to roll. The TD that was called a no catch.... from where I was sitting at, and it was really close, looked ...

Afraid I have to agree with U but East is playing mostly sophomores and juniors.NW might beat East but won't do too much against the rest of SOC 2 teams I am afraid.

Rawlins is out for season huge loss for East.
Re: SOC2 2009
No I'm pretty sure this is Mark Evan's junior year. If he did leave it could leave a bit of a gap on the line. I think he was talking about Tyler Evans. I believe Tyler Evans is playing for Otterbein this year.Several local boys will be going there. Player from Valley and name isn't comingto mind a...
Re: SOC1 2009
Oak Hill will finally win the SOC in football this season. I really don't see East beating the Oaks at home on the turf. If Slone has time, which I think he will, he has got Kyle Ondera on one side and Joey Maynard on the other. Pick your poison. Plus Weston is one fine running back to keep the att...

Without a doubt Ralph Whittington -Wellston.This kid runs a 4.1 forty, has a 52" vertical and can bench press 255lbs 40 times. He once killed a whitetail deer with his bare hands after he chased it down . He also body slammed a Grizzly Bear while on vacation in Alaska this summer. Craigmiles fr...

Re: SOC1 2009
I just have hard time seeing East win the title. They lost what 8 out of 11 starters on both sides. ( correct me if i'm wrong.) Also they have a new coach. It's Just hard to see them winning. The title goes to OH. Probably the East /Oak Hill game will come down to who gets the luckiest.Oak Hill doe...

Re: Predictions for SOC 1 in 2009
Foolsgold... If you are a Matewan fan then you should know from experience that all of the refs are either relatives of Yogi or his staff or a school official! Last year on of the Matewan players hit a East player 3 yards out of bounds on purpose on the home side and the official was going to throw...
