And Not all bands are exhibition bands, like Logan. We never go to competitions. Football Game halftime is our time to shine! Let us have it, and the football team can take their break. Everyone is satisfied....

Actually, Logan does their homecoming stuff during their pregame, not cutting into Half-Time procedures.....

So The Logan Marching Band took their stadium brass section over to the fans. We played through two songs, and went to play our favorite "Cheer". When we went to the student section though, they were very unwelcoming toward us. The student section told us that they didn't want to hear us, ...

I do have to say that I think the band could do quite well at a competition, our only fault would be difficulty with our drill. The reason being that we do try to create 4 different half-time shows each year. This obviously makes us not as good if you look at perfection, but it is quite impressive. ...

Marching Band or Concert Band?
I know that a lot of bands do their halftime shows with concert instruments, such as tubas, and percussion having chimes. Logan band does not do that, and most of us don't see the reason why. If you do it, why? and do you like it? If not, would you want to?
