Why would the SOC want to take Ironton and Portsmouth in now, after showing no interest for years? I say a partnership between the conferences would be more viable. It would be nice to have a couple early weekends in basketball to play a crossover league shootout

interesting take from Wheelersburg fans on Portsmouth dropping Wheelersburg. This coming from a fan base who’s “school” dodged Ironton for two decades in the 70’s and 80’s.

There were no transfers that moved to town for Ironton this year.

I agree. Unlike the Marshall game, where I believe Tress was sending a message, I think this game stays under 28 spread.

In no way should this series be a 1 for 1. If it has to happen every year, which isnt fair to WVU, it should be at least a 2 for 1. i personally think a 3 for 1 is fair. Bowling Green, Ohio U and other MAC teams(which is the conference Marshall should be in) dont get home games with WVU.

Marshall just doesnt know how to win. the coaching staff was lost in the 4th quarter, late in the game. They played not to lose, istead of playing to win.
