Re: coaches from wellston

As far a scoaching Jody Michaels could flat out coach. Some other issues may be distracting but coaching he was great. Joe malmisur or something close to that spelling. Had a brief but successful stint at Wellston and went on the AD at Youngstown State. I beleive he hired a young coach named Jim Tre...

BlindWhiteHat

No poster from Ironton can come on this forum and call any other poster from anywhere arrogant. As far as childish posts do you ever bother reading 80% of the posts from Ironton posters. Get over your self.

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

You brught up the fact you didn't host in 2003 not me. I don't care how many times you have hosted. If you had defeated Ironton and played better non conference teams you may have hosted. Thas is all my point. Your statements make non sense. I have to let you know come opn up to Northern Ohio and I'...

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

I have sceduled many non league games in all sports. I don't care if two of your friends are AD's. Apparently you live in the wrong part of the state. Don't be so condescending. Scheduling quality programs takes hard work and insight. Sometimes a school system has to make sacrifices if they want to ...

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

I don't care about rivalry's or neighbors. If you want to host (which was your concern in 2003)you need to play programs that are successful year in and year out. You have to win you lost to Ironton that year. Successful programs find ways to fund travel and the gates follow.

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

The reason you did not host that year had nothing to do with the league. It was playing Meigs and Coalgrove that prevented Gallipolis from hosting. There is no question Gallipolis was in a very strong region that year.

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

#1 do not call me your friend I don't know you I never said you needed to go 10 -0 to make the playoffs you eluded to that. My comment is if you scedule correctly you can make the playoffs at 5-5. You stated "The New York Giants could play some OHSAA schools and go undefeated and not a sniff of...

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

Thank you for your response however like many political candidates you did not answer the question -- Name the 10 -0 teams in the State of Ohio that did not make the play offs in 2008.

What is your point? What you are really saying is SE Ohio needs to step it up.

Re: Are These Matchups Written In Stone?

The Harbin System rewards you for beating GOOD teams. There is little reward for beating "cupcakes". For example, the two teams that provided the best competition for the Champion Logan Chieftains also played two of the more challanging non-conference schedules.
