Is Marietta's JV team any good?

He resigned in early October- First or second week of October.

I heard he wanted to spend more time with the family and couldn't commit 100% to basketball.

I think you have had to many"Buds".Thats tournament time and no game is scheduled unless the Fort has moved to D2

Bigcat-Where did you get all of your coaching experience? Where did you play and how many years were you a starter.You seem to have an answer for everything,maybe you should apply if the job comes open.According to you -you could turn any program around.

Does anyone have the final league records for the JV teams in the SEOAL?

Do they have a JV team this year.The last couple of years they could only play a half of a JV game because of lack of numbers.Good luck this year.

Marietta has always been a baseball town.The high school team has always fielded a winning team until the last 4/5 years.What seems to be the problem?Do they still have a youth league?I heard they don't have a Legion team any more.It's sad to see a once great high school program dying.

The Varsity Coach at Marietta "Joe Matheny" has had a Middle School program for many years, he is also the President of the Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association.I am sure he would be able to give you all the info you need. Call the AD at MHS "Rick Guimond" at 740-374-6540-Ex...

I for one hope so.He runs a clean program,works hard,and has quality assistant coaches.What more can you ask from a Head Coach?

Warren won the JV game by a large margin not sure what the exact score was.

Erica Dawson at Marietta.She is a good all around player and will be a double digit scorer as a Varsity player next year.

I would have to add Marietta and Warren to the list having seen both teams play,Marietta is undefeated and Warren is 9-1.
