Re: REDSTREAKS SEARCHING FOR A HEAD COACH??
Yeah we had a meeting 2day for baseball with coach bum and his assistants are blackburn and dean lightle. dean helped last year and knows his baseball, i have played baseball with blackburn's son since little league and blackburn knows his baseball also, and coach bum seems 2 be really into the team...
Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Flashing cursor is right about southworth(dale storm). he wouldn't leave piketon, , 2 go 2 waverly because they have kretzer and the other good recievers and with dereck roback at QB who runs the ball all the time he wouldn't get the ball not even 50 times, and to all you tiger fans, wake up from you...

Re: WK 10 Huntington @ Piketon
Our DE's should be very good no matter if Southwourth switches to LB because there are several kids, like Varney and Osburn, who will be back and there will be some good DE's moving up next year. Will be a punishing D all-around.

Re: WK 10 Huntington @ Piketon
Yeah I forgot about Vanhoy returning and Crawford is a beast of a Soph so he will probably be very dominant next year on varsity.Gillie is good to and Dunn could probably pull of the switch nicely.

Re: WK 10 Huntington @ Piketon
I agree ligit because if Southwourth moves to LB and have Osborn at DE then we should have a very very good front 8. Hey ligit, answer this if you can tell me, who will probably be our DT's

Re: WK 10 Huntington @ Piketon
Hogfarmer, There were kids calling out the coaches and quiting on them after the ZT game, but look at what we did after that game, we came so close to getting our first SVC title in along time because we decided to come back and stick with them, and OSU Bucks Fan, I mistated the quote about the goof...

Re: Any 8th grade waverly kids have skill to start next year
I agree on the Dyke boy being able to play some but I don't think that he will start varsity, at least not in the first couple of weeks. If Waverly's season goes south quicker than this years did, than I would expect to see him on O-line. He will probably get enough time next year to letter but I re...

Re: WK 10 Huntington @ Piketon
I agree with ligit because if Piketon can put together the talent from our soph's and jr's(jr's and sr's next season) then we will be a tough team that should go deep in the playoffs. We will be bringing back some key defensive starters,Brandon Varney for example, and we have a very talented LB core...

Re: 8th Grade Lineman
I think that a kid from waverly, Dylan Dyke, is a good O-D lineman. He's about 5'11" and weighs close to 240 lbs. His dad went to University of Cinncinati to play football so it must run in his blood. Hope to see you next year in the first game of the season for Piketon and Waverly.

Re: Wk. 9 Westfall at Piketon
If anyone thinks that Southwourth can be shut down by 1 man then you're nuts. Tackett doesn't have Barnes' size but he packs a big punch and it will take alot more than most realize to slow him at all. Our defense has had a good week of practice and will come out like a house of fire and as long as ...

Re: WK 8 Piketon @ Adena
The Streaks had to earn this one.Great job, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. You could beat them up if you wanted but they didn't quit and played the game to the last second.Yea, the interception hurt, but they fought and got the win.GOOD GAME STREAKS!

Re: WK 8 Waverly @ Valley
I think Waverly will lose in a not so close game because they rely on Roback to much and tire to quickly on defense.
Valley 31
Waverly 17

Re: WK 8 Piketon @ Adena
I'm picking us, Piketon of course. As long as we can keep Barnes under control offensively and defensively we should be able to control the game. We need big games from Reed , Tackett, and Miller along with solid decisions from Kenny Helton when he gets a chance to throw the ball.
