Re: Is Jackson Leaving SEOAL?
Change, change, change..... I can understand why Jackson (along with the others), would want in the SOC. Proximity, proximity, proximity..... Gas prices..... It would be a wise economic choice for the Jackson program to enter the SOC. Once again, we must be reminded that athletics goes beyond the fo...
Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Westfall is the reigning champion and the other SVC programs will have to focus on trying to knock them off. Coach Keller will do everything they can to hold on to the championship. Paint Valley (Hollon), Piketon (Gullion), and Zane Trace (Peters) have their sights on attempting to do so. Adena (Tho...

Re: Derek Roback Offers
In response to Caleb Knights throwing to Derek Roback, the hypothetical results may be true. Ask WAVERLY graduate Trevor Walls. But who is to say that Caleb Knights would not have been a great receiver for Derek Roback. Both are very good athletes. They will thrive in the collegiate atmosphere, simp...

Re: Unioto Football
I agree. 0 - 20 is very, very, difficult to swallow. Yet, Coach Detillion is willing to fight through the adversity. He has a vested interest in Unioto Football. He wants the program to be amongst the best in the SVC. If you think otherwise, then you are merely a fairweather fan. The man is from Uni...

Westfall 42 Huntington 20
Westfall scored 21 in the 1st Q and 21 in the 2nd Q. They played their non-starters in the second half. Congratulations to the Westfall Mustangs. Good luck and good health in a big game against Piketon next week.

Re: WK 8 Piketon @ Adena
Adena plays some very tough non-conference opponents as well. Very few teams in the SVC play a soft, non-conference schedule, which is a testament to the programs in the league. Adena - Piketon will be a very hard fought game. It should be a very exciting one to watch. Good luck to the coaching staf...

Re: WK 8 Chillicothe @ Jackson
This is a very interesting matchup. In the SEOAL, there are so many schools who have experienced success. Jackson is truly a program and community who has experienced winning. Chillicothe, who has recently entered the SEOAL, is a place that just wants consistency. Both areas have very talented athle...

Re: WK 8 Waverly @ Valley
Playing at Valley is always a fun football game. It is such a beautiful atmosphere. The Lucasville Valley Atmosphere basically set the tone as far as establishing the synthetic turf. The community there has basically set the tone as far as the importance of "their youth." That is, football...
