What teams are going to be at jackson on thursday night?

I'm not sure, sometime in the early afternoon I'm guessing. It's usually around the same time every year.

This race may be held on a new course. Short notice i know, but i just heard from the coach today that the golf course may not be available and he was mapping out a course at the high school??? I'll post any info as soon as i get it.

Sounds like the golf course won't allow it. Coach Smith will map out a course around the high school campus.....monster hills and not sure they can even run in the grass going up it....blacktop? Sidewalk? I'd be interested to see how he does it. Times will be incredibly slow if full distance. Hope it goes well and teams return next year....he sure didn't get much notice of this news.

Tough break for the coach and the team. From what i'm hearing the new course may be a real brute haha

Seemed like things went well considering everything the coach faced with only two days of prep time. The course will have to be tweaked before the next race but the times seemed good. Traffic was a nightmare and I had some unhappy people that I held up for the runners haha but with proper scheduling that can be easily resolved. The coach was happy and said he had positive feedback. It will be nice if our kids have a place to practice instead of running the streets.

How were the times relatively fast but the 11th place girl of 90+ was over 28 min?

The top runners had no problems. The average runners were a little slower but not terrible. My daughter finished 28th and ran around a 24:53 which is pretty consistent with her times this season.

were can you find the all the times at for everone.

Jackson is terrible at posting the times for track or xc. They just don't want to mess with it from what i'm told by the coaches.

The newspaper must've printed the 23's as 28's....newspaper kept saying 28's for girls that run 23's

Haven't seen a paper yet but it must be a mistake. There was quite a few walkers from the middle to the back but the top group seemed to do fine. I believe Haley Shank was Jackson's top girl and she ran 23:??
