RIVER VALLEY meet 2010

Second Annual Ed Sayre Memorial Early Bird Invitational
Hosted by River Valley Cross Country
August 28th at the New River Valley High School/River Valley Middle School
The course is new, even from last year. Minimal pavement (runners will cross the driveway, but not run on it for any distance), beautiful wooded scenery, and challanging hills make this a great course to run.
Race Day Schedule
8:00 a.m. course walk throughs
8:30 coaches meeting in front of River Valley Middle School
9:00 girls’ junior high (3200 meter) race begins
9:30 boys’ junior high (3200 meter) race begins
10:00 girls high school (5000 meter) race begins
10:45 high school boys (5000 meter) race begins.
11:30 awards ceremony
Entry fees:
$10 individual runner
or
$40 dollars per team ($70 maximum for each school)
Prizes
Plaques for First and Second Place Teams
Medals for top 3 finishers in each race
Ribbons for top 20 Finishers in each race
