I'll nominate Elyse Black of Jackson with her 19:55 at VC Invite and Donavon Lowe of Chillicothe running a 16:30 at Greenfield on a warm day. I know that course runs quick but I thought he was very impressive.

She really put in the time this summer. Every time I was out walking/jogging she would be out. She is doing so well...hope she continues to improve but hope she doesn't peak too soon.

Definite choice.

Boys? Blake Rigdon of Eastern Brown...sophomore ran 17:46 at ZT

Cray Sistrunk of Belpre beat him at 17:26

I have been waiting to see what the Hollrich girl does at Fairfield Union. She transferred in and so far hasn't ran. She had a sub 19:00.00 as a freshman last year.

Black from Jackson has really come on this year. I had noticed towards the end of the 2014 track season she was shifting into another gear.

These two would have been my pick for the first week. I would even have to pick her for this past week as she has lowered her time each time she has ran.

Black looked very strong at Zane Trace!. The Kid from Belpre ran a great race at Zane Trace! I was looking forward to seeing Steward run there also but he did not.

The Hollrich girl will only strengthen a already strong Fairfield union team. Wow!
