Freshman Thrower from Waverly throws????

At the indoor meet in Cedarville Dylan Dyke threw the shot 50' 09". Congratulations Dylan....

Very nice throw indeed! Good lineage as well, as I believe his uncle was a very good thrower. Waverly has had a bunch of very good shot and discus throwers over the years.

Dylan's dad was also a very good thrower as well as quite the football player!
Both Dylan and Brian Evans, also of Waverly, performed well at the indoor state meet last weekend.

keep in mind the boy is only 14 so he is a young 9th grader,but he is also 6'2-6'3 302lbs and in discus he threw a 129-6

Just threw against Dylan Dyke yesterday. My first instinct was that he was on roids... Hahaha. But he's too calm and nice to be. Congratulations on your win yesterday Dylan. It was a small meet but who cares?
