Congrats to Karena Fulks for breaking Jackson's 400m record held by Amber Mustard for 17 or 18 years.

Congrats to Chillicothe's girls team for a strong second place finish. These girls have really got the program back on track. Also Kudos to Megan Osborne (Freshman) with a sprint sweep (100, 200 and 400) including a league record in the 400.

'92 thanks for the post but I must tell you she broke Beth Howe's record.

Congrats to all of those who won today. There were a number of great performances this afternoon.

Congratulations to all of the track athletes who participated in the league meet. What a beautiful day it was filled with lots of exciting events by both girls and boys teams. Congratulations to the Lady Tigers of Marietta and the Logan Chieftain boys on their League Championships.Good luck to all at the district level. On a side note my two cents on why i like the SEOAL. I spotted boys coaches Maddox from Warren, Moore from Gallia, Helber form Logan and Marietta girls coach Cozzens. It was nice to see them supporting their athletes. Also in attendance was The Logan Daily News legend Craig Dunn who does a wonderful job covering ALL SEOAL events.A great league with lots of great people.

Lady tigers

Congratulations on a great team effort to win the title. You showed why track and field is a true team sport. Your team is deep and talented and young. Good luck at the district.

It was a great battle between Marietta and Chillicothe. I was keeping score and the lead kept changing almost on every event. Too bad Gallipolis had some problems cause it would have been three team neck and neck. Always like for team to beable to have their best out there in evey event.

The Gallipolis boys made a great showing too after being down for a few years. They are looking good for next year too.

It was also good to see the former Marietta Times Sports Writer Bill "The Benchwarmer" Robinson
at the meet what a Guy!

I love his story of when he and Coach Annasenz went to the NCAA Regional to watch Prefontaine

It was great to have up to the minute electronic scoring so that the back and forth between the Chilly and Marietta girls made for an exciting event that had the whole stadium on the edge of their seats. I think Chilly had an 8 point lead until the 3200, the next to last event. It was like that all day between the two teams.

The young female sprinter from Chilly is just outstanding and the female star of the conference. Not only did she sweep the sprints, her anchor leg of the 4 x 4 was one for the ages.

Great job lady tigers i also agree with noreply had gallia had jackson and a little more depth the race to the finish would have been between the 3 teams.
You have to give chilly and marietta credit for the way they ran against each other all day.
that was one of the best meets i have been to in a very long time. to the coaches of chilly great job. to all the coaches thank you for making this meet one of the finest.

Barnes from Gallipolis didn't look up to power either.Gallipolis's relays were hurting also.
