What's the deal with some of these so called district records? There have been faster times, longer jumps, and farther throws recorded at this district meet. Do they not count anymore because the meet is now held at Oak Hill?

Re: D2 District Results
Good question. Years ago there were district records kept. If there was anyone who could compile these southeast district records it would be No Reply. He seems to have a lot of access and I would imagine he could do it for all 3 divisions.
One of the problems with the D-I SE is that years ago we combined with the East district to maintain our sovereignty and not be absorbed into the Central District as has happened in cross country. Up to that point the SE had 2 qualify to advance as did the East. When Chillicothe had Garin Veris, Lancaster had Barry Walker, and Marietta had that Barrows weight thrower the SE District had the top 3 throwers in the state and only two could advance, so the East and Southeast began to have discussions about combining districts to advance the best four to the regional. What was born has been the current procedure we have been following. Fifteen years ago or so we had 17 teams in our district meet - now we have only 8.
In D-III the fact that not enough schools bring 9 entrants to compete has hurt them, as well. And they have been combined into one meet so getting actual, factual records may be very difficult, but i think NO REPLY may have the know how. With that being said, Mr. No Reply, sir, is this a doable project?

SE Div 2 records are strictly from Oak Hill. I don't know what happened to the district records when the meet was at Fairland for all of those years. Would be nice to include them also.

Districts at Washington C.H. are from Washington C.H. and the 2 years it was at Chillicothe.

I know at one time the meet was held in Ironton. Then it moved to Fairland, and on to where it now currently resides in Oak Hill. The records from these meets are just as valid as the records from Oak Hill. I do not understand why they disappeared when the meet was moved to Oak Hill. There was track and field in southeastern Ohio before 2007.
