SEOAL and pole vault

What in the name of The Wizard of OZ is happening in the SEOAL? SEOAL championship meet is at Jackson who has no vault mat? Seriously? Warren High School never got to host the championship because they had only a 6 lane track so why is it different with the pole vault? AND, listen to this - the pole vault will be hosted at Logan High School on a different night and Gallia claims they cannot get a bus SO they get to vote on their home pad with no one around. A registered official will be at both sights and will talk back and forth by phone!

What kind of convoluted, pure unadulterated male bovine excrement is this? Cannot go head to head in competition? The powers that be may know education, but they sure as hell do not know track and field.

Totally agree!!!!! First year I coached A very good vaulter fell during a warm up at our DISTRICT MEET. He was a 14' Vaulter. The meet manager decided to cancel pole vault until the final day of competition to give the vaulter (who was from the same school as the meet manager) time to heal up. Many of the coaches threw a fit and got that decision OVERTURNED but he would've truly done that had we all not REVOLTED. I just wished our LEAGUE allowed us to vault.
