With the best times I could find. Warren wins 2018

This would have been the closest league meet over all. With the 9th place school scoring in the area of 55 points. That was only 22 back of the 2nd place team.

Just wondering when Zanesville was in the SEOAL? I don't ever remember them being in the SEOAL. I do remember Wellston, Nelsonville, River Valley, Meigs being in the SEOAL at one time but never Zanesville.

It had to be after 2001 when my youngest son graduated from Gallia Academy. The distance to Zanesville from most of the SEOAL school would have been terrible since there is no good way to get there. Whoever decided it was a good thing to let Zanesville in the league obviously didn't consider travel time.

I really think they thought of that. A lot thought that with all the bigger schools in SEO in this league it would be unstoppable. More chances for a league to get to the playoffs. Big time names going at each every week. With a couple schools not being able to compete and the cost of transportation from Ironton to Zanesville, being the longest, was just too much. They had a North/South but the crossover games killed the league. If they would have added to each division and stayed away from the crossover games it might have lasted. Ironton, Portsmouth, Gallia, Jackson and Chillicothe [South]...Zanesville, Logan, Athens, Warren and Marietta [North]

2007 was the first year for the 10 team league
2009.....Athens dropped out before this season
2010.....Zanesville left
2011.....Ironton left
2012.....Marietta left
2014.....Chillicothe left
