Noreply the three county schools Jackson, Wellston and Oak Hill compete, it kind of died out for awhile and is now being revived. There used to be a trophies that were circulated among the winners and they kept it until they lost it in the next competition. It was kind of like the old oak bucket deal. Records of times and distances are kept, McDonalds here in Jackson sponsers it and provides some pretty good awards for the kids that place. Some good rivarlies and efforts during the meet.

It would be nice for Logan to have a county meet--- :lol: but all the others have been shut down.

What happened to Hebb from Warren?
I was thinking he was a senior this year.

Portsmouth had some good times at the Minford Inv. Link ran a 51.9 in the 400m and Royster ran a 23.0 in the 200m. the 4x200 ran a 1:34.6 and the 4x400 ran a 3:38.4. James Lawson also ran a 2:08 in the 800m.

Hebb elected not to run track this year. Working on his hoops game. He is a junior this year.

Does anyone have full results for the Chillicothe Club Invite last night? I know a few updates for the Gallia girls: 4X1= 50.5, HJ- Troester- 5"0, 100H- Close 16.3, 800- Barnes 2:31.5, 4X2- 1:47.8, 4X8- 10:37.

Results for Warren at John Glenn Invitational; Boys 1600, Tyler Cantley ran 4:24.80, and Nick Wilson ran 4:25.40. 400m, Tyler Cantley ran 51.28. HJ, Kevin Wolfer jumped 5'10". Girls; 800m, Faith Daigle ran 2:31.38. 1600, Daneka Hedges ran 5:56.08. Pole vault, Amelinda Marengo jumped 11'0" for a new Warren record. Warren boys are still undefeated!

Great news -- the SEOAL Meet will be timed using the FinishLynx timing system, which is a fully automated timing system.

I believe the meet is at Athens this year, not sure of the date though.

The SEOAL Meet will be at Athens High School on Wednesday, May 14 (5:00 PM) and Saturday, May 17 (11:00 AM). Heat and flight assignments for the preliminary and semifinal rounds will be posted on baumspage late Wednesday morning. Results will be posted there on Wednesday evening along with lane assignments for the finals on Saturday.

This would be a great idea. I think that every conference should do this. It gives a better chance for the distance runners to double up. I've always though this should be done at the State meet. But, dont count on it. The race organizers are not the ones running in the 1600 and 3200. :lol:
