Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates
Noreply the three county schools Jackson, Wellston and Oak Hill compete, it kind of died out for awhile and is now being revived. There used to be a trophies that were circulated among the winners and they kept it until they lost it in the next competition. It was kind of like the old oak bucket deal. Records of times and distances are kept, McDonalds here in Jackson sponsers it and provides some pretty good awards for the kids that place. Some good rivarlies and efforts during the meet.
Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates
It would be nice for Logan to have a county meet--- but all the others have been shut down.

SEOAL Boys Track Records in jeopardy. I am not saying they will all be beaten, just comparing records to this year's performances.

Great news -- the SEOAL Meet will be timed using the FinishLynx timing system, which is a fully automated timing system.

This would be a great idea. I think that every conference should do this. It gives a better chance for the distance runners to double up. I've always though this should be done at the State meet. But, dont count on it. The race organizers are not the ones running in the 1600 and 3200.
