Portsmouth Track

Portsmouth track will be very powerful with camron cosby and david porter runnin i would say jalen kennedy but i think he has toooo much BUTT

What is the freshmans name that runs in the low 11s--(100)

Portsmouth didn't do that well last year on the varsity side boys or girls. I'm not sure on the 7th and 8th grade side but they did have some bright spots. With a little more time this year and more interest in track they should move up.

Times Ran Last year
Freshman- Jon Royster- 100=11.2, 200=23.4, Long jump=19-5
Senior(ran at fairborn last year) Cory "Rocket" Reeves- 100 = 11.1 200=23.7 long jump= 20-10
jr. Zack Link- 400= 52.00 200=24.3 high jump= 5-11 800=2.05
jr. Malik White 100= 11.4, 200= 23.5, 300mh=42.07, 400=53.5
Freshman Angelo Jackson 100= 11.5 200= 23.7
James Lawson 100=11.9 200=24.3 400=54.4 800=2.04 Long Jump=19-00

those could be good for the 4x100 and 4x200 but come league time only two can run in an event.

if they had all these good runner when wear was them last year. i did not see anyone in the 800 that placed. it shows that there is two guys that can run in the 2:05

well 2 were in jr. high last year an reeves is a transfer zach link finished 2nd in the district in 400. james lawson ran a 2.04 at a invitational an finished 5 at district wit a time of 2.11

Im not saying they will beat overall but they will when some events Zach Link Should win the 400 and Malik White in the 300h and Reeves should place in the top three in the 100 but the 4x1 should run 43`s but they wont be able to run with zanesville..in that

If Ironton's Cater runs the 400 he will win it going away--under 50.00 and if he doesn't Jonathan Hebb from Warren should be right there--51s.
Shields from Marietta has a great chance in repeating as league champ in the 300 hurdles.If McCort from Logan can get himself together he just might open some eyes

McCort should do good if he puts his mind to it. so will Ruff in the 300s. it would be nic to see logan win the 300s this year. and in that other post i meant to say help. sorry about that.
