Warren Boys and Marietta Girls win the 18 team event.

Lots of SE Ohio teams competing. Some good early season distance times. The Warren boys are flat out awesome to watch. They are going to go a long way this season.

For some reason its not bringing me to this site.

But I will have to say I am real impressed, and would like to give a shout out to my old high school teammate Aaron Martindale. Last year he was unable to compete much in track due to a ruptured appendix (i think). This meet he ran the 3200 for the first time this year and ran a 10:30. A huge PR. With your hard work buddy, and Coach Fogles training, you'll have a sweet season.

Where is Kelsie (sp?) Alfred for the Warren Girls?
She was a 5 foot High Jumper, good hurdler and runner.

I don't want to sound like I'm hyping them or to set expectations that are too high to meet, but the Warren boys are just flat out impressive to watch. They are so good in so many events. I haven't seen results from all of the SEOAL boys teams, so is there any one who can compete with them in the conference?

Looks like the SEOAL girls will be a 3 or 4 team race that may come down to who is healthiest at the end of the year.

Looks like Emily Skidmore took care of business in the 1600 and 3200...

Emily Skidmore is the real deal...Does anyone know if she is getting looked at by any colleges...I would think she could go Division I.

Defending State Division 3 Champion(Girls) Bellaire St. Johns usually attends this meet. This past weekend they elected to go to Tyler County W.V. for their Invitational. Had BSJ been at Meadowbrook they would have made this an outstanding meet as they won 9 events and were second in three others with three meet records.

I'm in no way slighting the winning efforts do to the absence of BSJ, just adding something for comparison and discussion.

Cedarville has took some interest in her. I don't know about any D1 schools. She is just a Junior so schools might not have looked at her yet. Since she has improved every year, there is a good chance that a couple D1 schools will contact her next year.
