Just wondering how other teams have done so far. Add up all of your wins by teams you beat at duals up thru invitationals, and the same with losses. Warren has accumulated 84 wins with 0 losses.

84-0 and $3.50 won't buy a gallon of gas.
Let's just keep working hard and focusing on getting faster, jumping higher/further, throwing further each of the next 3 meets and see how many kids we can get to Columbus.

that is an impressive number but what level of competition are they running against throughout the season?
I know back in the 80's and 90's when warren was still considered D1 in track Lancaster won the east-southeast district meet 16 of the 17 years they were in it but never won a state title. the competition the Gales ran against at the district level wasn't all that great in that neck of the woods.

As far as the competition they ran against...obviously in some cases in wasnt the best in the state but should still be considered quality competition. Warren ran away with the championship at the league meet, breaking the 4x8 record league record. The competion at the league meet was good, even had a state record broken...

I wouldn't say they ran away with the league meet considering some teams have scored from 185 to over 200 points.

Ohio Interscholastic Track and Field Records
High school track and field in Ohio is conducted in accordance with the rules written by the National Federation of High School Associations and adopted by the Ohio High School Athletic Association Board of Control.
In order for a track and field mark to be approved as the official record, the provisions as specified in the National Federation Track and Field Rule 10 must be satisfied. Rule 10-1-1 sets the requirements:
"Art. 1 … All applicants for state or national records must be made on printed forms available from the state association or National Federation office. In order to receive consideration by the rules committee, the performance must have been made in a meet: 1.) Sanctioned by a state high school association; 2.) Involving five or more schools; and 3.) In an event limited to high school contestants who are representing their respective high schools. The application for record must be received within six months from the date of performance."
Record application forms are available from the Ohio High School Athletic Association office and must be filed at the OHSAA within six months in order to be considered. The simple reporting of an outstanding effort to the news media will not suffice for the athlete to receive record consideration.
The following records are the Official State of Ohio Interscholastic Track and Field records, as properly reported to the OHSAA. Any other listing is unofficial for high school track and field and should be so recognized by those interested in the sport.BOYS DIVISION II - RECORDS
Shot Put (12lbs.) 62’ 113/4" Terry Miller, Kenton Lexington 2005 . Congratulations on the throw

Warren Local just won their boys and girls district track meet today. The boys remain undefeated, and I don't care who doesn't like W-L's in track, but keep goin' Warren, all the way to State!
