If you go to www.ohioyouthrunner.org very good web site for jr high track they have a state meet every year and the meet is broken down by divisions div.
1 and div.2 & 3 . the state jr high records are on the site so you can find out just how you child or student will compete with others from like size schools around the state of Ohio. 100 mt. div 1 state record 12.42 (candace longino-thomas) set in 2007, 100mt div.2&3 state record 12.97 (tracee banks) set in 2007, ...........200mt div 1 state record 25.08 (kaila barber) set in 2007 , 200mt div.2&3 state record 26.48 (azia walker) set in 2006.

just a note if you have a child who likes track i would encourage everyone to go to the meet its a great chance to see how a state meet is ran and just how good some of the jr high kids are at this sport...
