Has anyone every experienced a track meet that ran HS and middle school kids at the same venue? The HS would run against the Hs and the middle school vs. middle school.

I am trying to find some one who did it so i can give details to the powers that be

You wouldn't have much of a problem doing this if you could keep it under four schools making eight teams and run them at the sametime.

They break some meets down in Divisions so it could be about the same

You would have to limit entries - first of all. Then, all you need to do is to alternate events - jhg hurdles, jhb hurdles, hsg hurdles, and then hsb hurdles - all the way through the order of events. The field events may become a mess, but if you want to try it - go for it!

The mess is what I am trying to avoid. It is my hope that it will build a connection between ms track and hs track. I was thinking of limiting entries to 4 in each race so there would be a total of 4 heats of each event and combine the 8x 800 1600 3200 boys and girls for HS and do a 1600 jr high boys and girls.

However, so far i have not found anyone who has done this.

BTW Flatulance good luck at your new post.
