The incredible hurdler from Paint Valley has qualified for the state finals in the 100 and 300 hurdles. She's going to be on teh podium twice come Saturday....with an outside shot at the 100 title.

Congrats to a phenominal athlete.

So far the Belpre 4x1 and 4x2 and Southeastern's 4x1 and 4x2 teams failed to qualify along with Billy Hoggard (110 and 300 H) of Peebles, John Wine (110H) of Nelsonville, Bill McColloch(100m) of Nelsonville and Oakie Hanes of Coal Grove (100m) in their events thus far.

Up soon are Joe Hall and Oakie Hanes in the 200m prelims and the field events will display some SE athletes as well later on in teh day.

Best of luck to all SE Ohio Athletes who have earned a trip to Jesse Owens Stadium. Alot of events yet to be completed, but a big congratulations to D.J. Duke from little ol' Hannibal River on Rt. 7 in Monroe County. D.J. just broke his own state record for D III Shot Put, besting his prior mark by almost two feet.

D.J. took first with a throw of 68' 8.25" !!!!!! That is awesome.
