800---Marietta has two good ones in Schafer and Murray

1600--Wesel should be good from Marietta

3200--Wesel and Fobes of Marietta

Marietta will need a lot more than this to be in the race for the title next year

Reeves from Ironton has really been improving over the last couple of years. If McManaway from Logan sticks with things he could get in the top 5. Wesel has just showed that he will be the top guy in the 1600.Fobes [Marietta]could also get in to the top runners if he runs in the 1600. Marietta always has good young runners coming up to the varsity. You also have to watch out for Warren. Something in the water down there in Washington County that makes those boys run well.

Both Murray graduated--right?

Monroe and Reeves from Ironton runs in the area of 2:05 in the 800
Both run in the area of 4:45--4:49 in the 1600
Stumbo runs near 11:30 in the 3200

Gallia's Amos better not be looked over in the 800--[2:03]--also Watts from Gallia does pretty good in the 1600

Watts also can run in the 3200--[10:30-10:40]

Reeves ran a 4:41 in the district last year to win the 1600.Monroe was 5th in a very close race at a time of 4:44.Stumbo has run i believe in the 10:40"s in the 3200.All 3 boys are just juniors. They feel they have a shot at the school record in the (4 by 800),which is 8:28.

Yes both Murrays graduated. Wesel from marietta ran 4:40 i believe at leagues last year as a freshman. He also runs a good 3200 time. Fobes should be solid in the 3200.
